We booked the two bedroom and it was nice and big, with a small kitchenette and living room area. Very clean and a convenient location right down the street from the night market. We had a nice balcony where we could sit at night and hear the noise of the street below but quiet enough to feel peaceful. 15 minute walk to beautiful Kata Beach (lots of taxis or tul tuks available too but the walk is nice). There are two pools, one on the fifth floor which was beautiful and a bigger pool on the first floor which was bigger but was shaded and the water was colder so we used the fifth floor pool. Don’t forget to bring 3000B in cash for the deposit when you arrive.

Great location! A tidy and simple, peacefully connected with all the bungalows by a small trail in the well kept garden place which located in the hustle bustle noisy polluted main street by the Kata beach. The garden is well-kept well nourished well watered. There is a tree frangipani constantly throwing out lots of White and yellow full of fragrant flowers down to the green grass lawn and the trail, romantic is in the air, birds come go, at night The smell of the flower it gets even more intense, you can sit by the bungalow sipping your favorite drink watching the fun things in the pool while reminded by the sweet frangipani flowers smell. We enjoyed the bed and the paintings on the wall. The hot water boiler is powerful. It’s also very lovely and happy to see the staffs spontaneously teasing and having fun with each other while working.

Kata beach was a very touristy and fairly crowded beach, but...

Kata beach was a very touristy and fairly crowded beach, but there are a lot of things to do, and its is lively all day and all night. There were a lot of families and people of many ages, it is a place where you can probably find tours and activities for a very long time. We ate at the Kata Walking Market, a Mediterranean place called "El Greco" and a fun breakfast place. All the food was good and I was not disappointed with any of the places we went. Compared to other areas of Thailand I think that its more expensive - but still very affordable overall.

We had the most amazing sunset sooo beautiful the beach was perfect the people so lovely it was just a friendly beach with surfers jet skiers lots of activities to keep you busy if that’s what you want and really lovely bars we liked the surfer bar so cool

Kata was nicer than Patong - less night life,

Kata was nicer than Patong - less night life, We didnt enjoy the beaches the amount of rubbish in the sand and water is very sad- not just Kata we found the all the Phuket beaches the same, very sad or maybe we are very lucky in NZ to have beautiful rubbish free beaches

I loved my stay at Chanelay garden resort hotel where staff were amazing especially Gain who made my stay exceptional. She was incredible helpful and her professional manner and attitude made me want to come back to the hotel again.

Kata Beach was busy, especially at the southern end.

Kata Beach was busy, especially at the southern end. We rented a scooter and visited Karon Beach and Hai Harn Beach. There are heaps of shopping, money exchanges and restaurant options in Kata Beach. We walked or used a scooter.

The staff were superb, especially Kae and Phat from breakfast service, which was also really beautiful. It was a lovely welcoming touch offering the arrival refreshments 🙏 we really enjoyed the beautiful pool and surrounding garden and the beach and big budda views. The resort is very accommodating of children and staff beautiful and interacting with our 7 month old making a fantastic first impression of Phuket and Kata beach in particular as this was our first time here and first family holiday also.

I can’t say how amazing staying here was , the staff went out of the way for you very kind people, and the cleanliness of the hotel was amazing high quality, I will definitely be staying here again , and the food is great too and cheap , and cheapest beer Iv seen in phuket upto now , beds rest big and comfortable and the tvs have YouTube which is a plus , yeah I can’t say any more but amazing experience will definitely be staying again Thankyou to the staff!!

Kata beach is in walkable distance. Many cafe/restaurants around. All of them walkable too. Room was tidy. Honest daily cleaning. Everything that should be changed, is changed. No smell of canalization(Which is an issue in a lot of places on Phuket). Hot water is actually hot. Staff is very friendly and responsive.
