The room is very spacious and comfortable. Though the rooftop pool was in maintenance during our stay, we could use the neighboring hotel's pool, which is not a problem for us. The staff, from those at reception to housekeeping, are all very friendly and helpful. There are numerous restaurant selections nearby.

Great place to stay.. The pools are the best for kids, we stayed in a family cosy room with 2 kids and they also provide a cot The room was clean and the housekeeping happened everyday. Staff were so polite and helpful, I don't remember their name but the guy Meaw Film helped us with fast check-out. I love the breakfast and also we used their restaurant, the staff and food were very good

What was not to love? The location was amazing. Having the pool just steps away from our door was clutch. Food, shopping and beach all just a few steps away from our hotel. Great staff, very clean room, comfortable bed. I will DEFINITELY return if we come back to Phuket. Loved the bar on site!!

Kata beach was a very touristy and fairly crowded beach, but...

Kata beach was a very touristy and fairly crowded beach, but there are a lot of things to do, and its is lively all day and all night. There were a lot of families and people of many ages, it is a place where you can probably find tours and activities for a very long time. We ate at the Kata Walking Market, a Mediterranean place called "El Greco" and a fun breakfast place. All the food was good and I was not disappointed with any of the places we went. Compared to other areas of Thailand I think that its more expensive - but still very affordable overall.

We had the most amazing sunset sooo beautiful the beach was perfect the people so lovely it was just a friendly beach with surfers jet skiers lots of activities to keep you busy if that’s what you want and really lovely bars we liked the surfer bar so cool

Kata was nicer than Patong - less night life,

Kata was nicer than Patong - less night life, We didnt enjoy the beaches the amount of rubbish in the sand and water is very sad- not just Kata we found the all the Phuket beaches the same, very sad or maybe we are very lucky in NZ to have beautiful rubbish free beaches

I loved my stay at Chanelay garden resort hotel where staff were amazing especially Gain who made my stay exceptional. She was incredible helpful and her professional manner and attitude made me want to come back to the hotel again.

Kata Beach was busy, especially at the southern end.

Kata Beach was busy, especially at the southern end. We rented a scooter and visited Karon Beach and Hai Harn Beach. There are heaps of shopping, money exchanges and restaurant options in Kata Beach. We walked or used a scooter.

Our stay at the hotel was excellent! We stayed for about 10 days, and the room was very beautiful. The breakfast had countless options, and everything was delicious! On our last day, since we had to leave very early in the morning, they prepared a breakfast box for us to take along! The staff was polite and always smiling. The next time we choose to visit Phuket, we will definitely stay here again.

There was nothing not to love! The hotel is amazing however the staff are what makes this hotel a great place to stay. They are friendly, warm, helpful and ready to go above and beyond for your comfort. There was nothing me and my wife did not love about this hotel. They set the bar high and made our experience of Phuket incredible.

Very clean, modern, very friendly and helpful staff and quiet location…yet 2 min drive or 10 min walk to Kata. Patong is busy, Kata much more relaxed area and has everything. All 4 tour bookings picked me up from the hotel. ( James Bond island, Phi Phi island, Phuket town tour and zipline + quad bike)
