The location of this hotel is perfect if you are looking to attend the Suan Mokkh retreat and is within walking distance (10+ mins) of 7-11 and the PT gas station if you are in need of some minor provisions as the hotel is quite out of the way from restaurants and Chaiya town unless you have a car. The water was hot in the shower, a tea kettle was provided, the WiFi was consistent and despite not having blackout curtains, the room stayed reasonably dark during the day when a nap was needed. Plus the woman who ran the hotel was kind enough to drop me off at the retreat the morning of registration as well.

A very nice stay at Bangsrai cottage! My room was incredible, was lovely to listen to the sounds of the night. Breakfast was good too and the hosts were friendly and accommodating.
