Offering free WiFi, a sun terrace with a swimming pool and a garden, Hotel Siblanburi Resort is located in Mae Hong Son. The hotel has family rooms. The setting was beautiful. The hotel sits on a huge property with two swimming pools and is beautiful. You do need a vehicle to get around as it is outside of town. I thoroughly enjoyed my stay here. The only slightly down is that the bed was a little too firm for my tastes. However still comfortable. And extremely clean. I highly recommend this hotel.

Crossroads house has a restaurant, bar, a shared lounge and garden in Mae Hong Son. There's free private parking and the property has free shuttle service. The owner of the hostel is so friendly. She has the best tips about places to visit or places to eat. She even brought me to the bus station. The hostel itself looks amazing, a very old wooden house that is over 80 years old. The dorm I slept in was clean and so was the bathroom. The location is good, there are a few restaurants nearby but you can also have delicious dinner in the hostel.

Wake up to the sounds of the jungle and running rivers at Fern Resort Mae Hong Son. This nature resort features traditional Shan tribe bungalows and an outdoor pool. What an amazing find. Great for our family of four. Lovely spacious rooms, great pools and with a great nature trail on your doorstep. The bonus is the resident "trail" dogs who stay around the site and accompany you (take the tourists) for a walk. Simple but adequate breakfast and overall great value.

Set in a convenient area of Mae Hong Son with a walking street nearby, Sarm Mork Guest House offers accommodations close to Wat Chong Kham and Wat Chong Klang. One of the best budget in-town guesthouses I've ever stayed in - thoughtful layout and amenities. Such a cute and practical place. Lovely staff, great location right around the corner from the night market
Mad Hong Son is beautiful. be aware that forest fires burn in February a d March spoiling the views. We loved sitting on the balcony of the coffee bar restaurant looking over the lake and night market. The food was very good there.
I did the famous Mae Hong Son loop on scooter for 3 nights/4 days and it was perfect. People tend to stay in Pai for a few days to make it a little longer, but since I didn't like Pai, one night stay was perfect for me.
We had three days in MHS the ( Dec31-Jan 3) New years eve down by the lake in the town was great. So much going on and people everywhere. Good food stalls and market every night and i recommend eating at the Good View resteraunt by the lake. For anyone who's trip in MHS is due to riding the Mae Hong Son Loop , this is the town to get your souvenier t-shirts, stickers etc. All in all Mae Hong Son is a great place to visit for a few days .I also recommend taking the side roads off the main Loop road.
It is a quiet, natural, small province among the mountains. People is friendly, sincerely, and lovely. Pai and Pang aung are the places where you never miss. you can easily go there by plane or exciting by van or car.
Great base for some fantastic sightseeing and wonderfully scenic views. Would recommend Yun Lai Viewpoint,Wat Chong Kham, Wat Phrathat Doi Kong Mu and Tham Pla Suea Waterfall. Also Tham Lod Cave if venturing toward Pai.
Such a laid back, friendly place. If you are near the small lake you are near what you need. Killer night market. This is maybe my 10th night market in Thailand and maybe my favourite. Good food and cheap. Beautiful setting at night along the lake. The viewpoint on the mountain is fantastic. Walk up the stairs and earn the view. Behind the Wat is a cement road going up and this is where you can look out to Burma. Rent bikes and make your way out of town, cross the Pai River and explore the roads. Great easy cycling. Biggest obstacle is the heat. We are both in our early 60’s and had no issues. Come for 3 days and stay for 9 like us if you can. The best Chicken Khao Soi can be had at Khaw Soi Panoon. Also check out the morning Market 😍

Mae Hong Son
Loved the grounds and fire pits and camp style friendly atmosphere outdoors, friendly, unpretentious staff and eco resort. Ability to walk directly to the waterfall was also nice. Simple breakfast but it worked. Great for families traveling through Mae Hong Son. Some people were grilling outside too. Nice pool too but we didn't use it.
The best part was a nice breakfast in the fresh morning air. It's the standard Thai hotel buffet food, but presented nicely and feels a bit more upgraded because of it. The staff was super polite and nice...in particular, the housekeeping staff.
Mae Hong Son
It wasn’t just a good place to sleep. Pon is really nice, helpful and also a good cook. You can also rent a bike here or get to arrange a trip. Very nice place to stay when visiting Mae Hong Son!

Nice location, good value for money and good stay for one night. Not many low budget options in Mae Hong Son anyway.
