The resort is like a chalet.. they are a few chalets in the premises.. ours is nearer to the pool... sad thing is that when we are there it rain heavily so we cant take much picture. Everything! The spaciousnessof the room. I love that they have a drink machine and you can get your favorite drinks any time nad how many times you wanna have them for free. The pool is huge. love how they provided an electric mosquito repellent in the room. And they offer delicious snacks too! I had such a wonderful stay.

We just stayed here for a night and took the ferry to Koh Lipe the next day. The part of town immediately surrounding the hotel was dead at night. A 7-11 is close, as well as 4 street vendors selling some food.

Unlike the bustling Hat Yai city.
Unlike the bustling Hat Yai city. Satun can be bustling on weekend mornings especially near the wet market areas. Otherwise, it can be very peaceful as early as 8 in the evening with less traffics. You'll only see many tourists at Pak Bara pier as there is where they their speedboats to Koh Lipe, Koh Tarutao and Koh Adang.

We only stayed for a couple of nights as we were catching a ferry to Malaysia. It was interesting be be in a real Thai town...no tourists except for us it seemed! We liked walking around the canal...a nice green space close to the main part of town. We also found very inexpensive food near the market. If we were to stay longer I’m sure we would have found more interesting things to do.
