Located in Tonsai Beach, Tinidee Hideaway Tonsai Beach Krabi - SHA Plus offers beachfront accommodations a few steps from Tonsai Beach and provides facilities like a restaurant, a shared lounge and a... WOW! Where do I even start? The property is absolutely beautiful and so incredibly well maintained. It is a new development in the area but they made is truly beautiful! It neighbors Railay beach and is walkable to and from there. The food at their cafe was wayy too yummy! Ordered so much during my visit as I wanted to try almost everything on their menu. The rooms are beautiful, and look out straight to the ocean. Very minimalistic and beautiful and it has everything you could need! Felt a bit like glamping! As for the staff- I promise you couldn't look for a more kind, helpful, and genuine group of people. They made my last two days in Krabi the best days. Very accommodating to anything you need! The staff made so much happen for me during my stay there- Operations manager P'Kasidet was super knowledgeable about the area and activities (If you love rock-climbing, he can definitely point you in all the right directions and will make the impossible happen for you!). P'Sitthiphon is the kindest as well and will make sure you have everything you need during your stay! 1000000/10 I would recommend and will definitely have to visit my new friends again in the future.
Located in Tonsai Beach, a 3-minute walk from Tonsai Beach, Chill Out Bar and Bungalows has a number of amenities including a restaurant, a bar and a garden. This place is the real Tonsai.. The staff can’t do enough for you and don’t forget to get your home made soap!
Surrounded by greenery and cliffs, Tonsai Bay Resort is a 2-minute walk from Tonsai Beach and offers villas with private balconies. It features a diving center, beachfront restaurant and bar. Was a great place to stay, with a nice chilled vibe. Gentle easy walk into Railay, just make sure the tide is out as you won’t make it on to the beach without a climb.
Located on the private Pai Plong Bay, Centara Grand Beach houses beachfront dining options, 2 outdoor pools and a spa. Its rooms offer a private balcony with garden or ocean views. The resort was absolutely beyond expectations. The room, restaurants, pool and service were extraordinary. My jaw dropped when we pulled up upon the resort (by boat only). The pool was huge, and even when kids were around, you could find your own space. The resort is only accessible by boat or a rickety "monkey trail." The monkey trail isn't for everyone though. There is a regular boat shuttle that runs back and forth from the resort to town every half hour. The monkey trail is about a 15-20 minute hike on a boardwalk-style trail up over the cliff/jetty that secludes Centara from the town of Ao Nang. You can hitch a long tail boat from the beach of Ao Nang to the surrounding islands. Or, you can schedule one from the activities desk to pick you up from Centara's floating pier.
Located on the white sands of West Railay Beach and surrounded by the beautiful limestone cliffs, Railay Village Resort-SHA Plus offers private villas and rooms with pool views. Beautiful hotel with exceptional service from staff. Everything was properly kept, the hotel itself was clean all around and it is situated beautifully on Railay West beach. Would happily stay here again!
Stretching across the white sands of Railay Beach, Railay Resort & Spa offers spacious cottages set in tropical landscapes. It features free WiFi throughout, a beachfront outdoor pool and a... Room was wonderful, had a private little pool but obviously hasn’t been used in a while cause there was a few broken bits on it. Bed was comfy, bathroom/shower was great. Room as a whole was really nice. Staff were friendly and helpful. Breakfast was fine, nothing amazing but lots of choice. Location was perfection. We just sat in the pool and watched the sunset. Spa was amazing and friendly. Visitors at the pool are rude and hog beach beds for hours when they are not there but not really anything the staff can do about douche bags!
Railay Phutawan Resort - SHA Certified is located along Railay Beach in Krabi, surrounded by green mountains and the beautiful Andaman Sea. The staff was so friendly, the picked me up every time I needed with the tuk-tuk, they had some welcome drinks. the room and bed were amazing, and the shower was very good, CLEAN! HELPFULL! Perfekt location, unf couldn't use the pool. It was THE BEST hotel i stayed my whole trip
Just a 5-minute walk to Phranang Cave beach on the peaceful East Railay Bay, this hotel offers 2 outdoor swimming pools and a fitness center. This was a beautiful resort! It was located right at the end of the pier and was super close to all the shops and restaurants. It had two amazing pools, a free gym and included a wonderful buffet breakfast. The staff were so helpful and made our stay as relaxing as possible.

Great for a little day visit but wouldn’t recommend to stay here. Unless you are climbing or want a happy shake then there isn’t much else to do and the area is very basic and not developed enough to cope with the amount of tourists.
The swimming pool was good and cabins as well, the staff was lovely. Insects everywhere during night time but that is usual in the jungle, so just make sure you have your repellent with you. The location is magic, just near to the resort there are a couple of bars where you can chill out with good music in a good environment, there are also flame jugglers. The beach is amazing with a really good view of Railay but quieter than this, there is a path which connects both beaches. Really good place fro climbers too.
Tonsai beach might not be the prettiest in Railay but it’s still my favourite. It’s just so friendly with the best vibe. Loved sitting on the beach, watching the sunset, the evening climbers and the base jumpers.
The kayak trip around the rocks between Railay east and Pranang beach is an absolute must. The caves, the tunnels, the colours of the rocks.... Snorkeling at Ko Poda and Ko Rok is great, so many fish and corals and things to see. The Diamond Cave at Railay was impressive! Who would have expected „curtains“ and „organ pipes“ and „basins“ within these rocks? Walking the jungle trail from Tonsai to Railay is not difficult but such an adventure! The Sunsets from Tonsai are sooo romantic <3 Pranang Beach is probably the nicest beach. Treat yourself with a massage - the aromatic oil after a long journey or a rough ride in the speed boat - with Aloe Vera after a hot day in the sun and for light sunburns - a foot massage after a long walk or while waiting for your transfer to the airport...
So much to do here, went climbing at all the great locations on offer in tonsai and railay. Walked through the jungle and admired the wildlife, went sea kayaking to chicken island and the bars and food are fantastic
Beach is not good for swimming, at low tide looks really bad, and it is inconvienient to reach other beaches arround (railay west or pranang beach), specially at high tide or at night. Most of tonsai is now a building site for some new resort and the rest is in the jungle, full of mosquitos and empty restaurants and bars and old accomodation sites that are falling apart.. tonsai have changed! (Or I changed so much?)
Was a great place to stay, with a nice chilled vibe. Gentle easy walk into Railay, just make sure the tide is out as you won’t make it on to the beach without a climb.
