The staff are great, they were very kind and helpful especially Lukman and Zhuhal, they were very welcoming and supportting. The only tricky part was the way to the hotel was a little tricky, otherwise it was a great experience.

Mardin old town itself is a true gem and Maran House is one of those gems. Luckily we found this place, were beyond expectations. Peaceful and beautiful. Enjoy the sunset with a glass of Mardin Suryani wine. Wake up early and enjoy the sunrise over the Mesopotamia. Breakfast is heaven, anything they serve comes from a village and / or home made. The shampoo brand is my favorite - that’s a sweet detail. Rooms are super clean and nicely decorated.

It's a very lovely place which is run with love and care by one family. All rooms have the names of family members, while the hotel itself is named after mother. It's more like you stay at your grandma home rather than a hotel. Location is very central. Facilities are new and kept well.
