The apartment was very clean and very spacious and bright. Lots of balconies and windows. Very friendly and helpful stuff. We were offered a couple of free rides to town (which is 4 km away), one of which was extremely convenient because otherwise we would have to carry our heavy backpacks all the way to Demre bus terminal. Thank you to the moon and back :*

    there are more beaches accessible by car, there is no local transport /dolmuš/ to the beaches pebble beach - taşdibi plajı is clean, towards the east is clear water, there are few people on it, there is a nicely maintained promenade, sandy beaches - Sülüklü Plajı, Çayağzı Plajı - near to port, cruise ships to Kekova leave from there Saint Nicholas Church - entrance fee is 15 eur

    Demre has a lot to offer for such a small, not-as-touristy...

    Demre has a lot to offer for such a small, not-as-touristy town compared to all the other more touristy towns nearby. Myra ancient city and St. Nicholaus Church are must-see, we also really liked the Sülüklü beach, we had the whole beach to ourselves when we went there!

    The location is convenient for walking the Lycian Way and is one of the recommended hotels on the accommodation guide. Lots of food shops nearby and not far from the bus station if you are busing the Demre to Finike stage.

    Big hotel in the middle of the nature (sand dunes) in front of a very good sandy beach. Huge pool and a lot of attractions for kids. About half o fthe staff understood some English or German.
