Mount Nemrut is great.
Mount Nemrut is great. We took the advice of our hotel owner and went there for sunrise. The light is beautiful and soft. If you stay at Hotel Euphrat Nemrut you are very close to the best sites including Mount Nemrut. But also close to lots of other sites. And it has a gorgeous mountain feel and view. It felt a very Turkish experience and not over touristy.

Karadut is a village with no special value, except maybe the...
Karadut is a village with no special value, except maybe the locality. I think it is worth finding cheaper accommodation further from mountain and come only for one full day - visiting Arsameia and go to Nemrut 2 hours before sunset to avoid extrem number of tourist groups coming especially for sunset. Seljuk - Urartu fortress is currently closed for renovation, but looks nice from little distance.

The hotel had a quiet location in the mountains. It is very well situated for visiting the amazing sculptures on top of Nemrut Dağı. I drove down after watching the sunset on the mountain and was served a very tasty dinner under the trees outside the hotel. Breakfast, also under the trees, was equally appetising. Everybody was very friendly. It was a brief but very enjoyable stay.

The host Murat and his 2 daughters and sons are exceptional! They make you feel like home. You can eat your breakfast in the garden on good weather days. It’s very near to Mount Nemrut. They provide car service to anywhere you wish with very fair price. My son did not want to leave :) this is a local authentic B&B , not to expect a hotel! Hope we can come back one day!

This is a lovely hotel, in a perfect location for visiting Mount Nemrut. The staff, particularly Mehmet and Korkut, were welcoming and friendly. Nothing was too much trouble. The breakfast and dinner buffets were delicious and varied. The room was spacious, and the beds were
extremely comfortable. Would highly recommend.

Breakfast was great, and we asked for the set Dinner which was also good. As I was leaving later the next day stayed for lunch. So glad I did, had lunch out on the patio area overlooking the valley all to my self. The hotel staff also drove us to the airport (for a reasonable fee).
