Very central for the shops, restaurant and short walk to the foot of the castle. The railway station is about 15 minutes walk. You'll need a taxi to get to the airport. Room was generally good. Comfortable bed. Desk, fridge, tea/coffee making facilities and 2 x bottles of water. Bathroom was OK, soap, small bottles of shampoo/shower gel. I requested a non smoking room. When I got in the room it had no odour and may well have been deodorised as there was an ashtray, so may well be a room you could smoke in. Breakfast (from 07:00) was extremely good. Fresh bread, cheeses, olives, salad vegetables, fruit, jams, honey plus tea and fruit juices.

The staff was very friendly, pleasant and helpful.

The location. I can walk to Kars Citadel and Fehtiye Cami. I got 3 beds in my rooms I slept on all.of them. Water pressure is good. WiFi is ok to work online. Many grocery shops and eateries in every blocks. The hotel owner is really helpful.

Nice location, helpful reception staffs, clean rooms, ...

Our stay here was an absolutely wonderful experience. We were very late checking in and this was no problem whatever. In fact, they took their own initiative and ordered a taxi for us from the station. When we got there, they contacted a local restaurant that was actually closed and persuaded them to cook a wonderful meal for us. They got us a taxi there and the food was ready when we arrived. The taxi waited for us and dropped us back to the hotel 20 minutes later. They also arranged a taxi for us for the following day to take us from Kars to the border, crossing into Georgia at Sarpi. They honestly could not have done more or been more obliging. The breakfast was absolutely incredible and the hotel itself is truly beautiful. I could not recommend this hotel more highly, and I am very grateful to Mustafa, to Ibrahim and all the staff that made our stay so special. If I am ever back in Kars, this is the only place I would stay.

Comfortable and stylish hotel in the centre of Kars with very kind staff who go out of their way to make you feel at home.

We enjoyed our stay in the traditional hotel, the rich breakfast and how welcoming and helpfull the staff was. Even though they only spoke turkish they helped and provided anything we needed. The room was comfortable, clean and warm.

I arrived at midnight which was unexpected. The staff, however, were very friendly. My room was great, nice and quiet even though it was at the front of the building. It was a short walk from the train station. The breakfast was amazing. Plenty of variety and home made little spring rolls. Friendly staff in the breakfast room as well. I highly recommend this hotel.

Excellent, brand new hotel in the center of the town. All people very nice and kind

We stayed for three nights, in a double room. The room was spacious, and overlooked the street. We could see the Kars Castle from the window. Breakfasts were great, buffet style with eggs to order. I really liked that they featured the Kars cheeses, in particular the mouldy stringy cheese (I think it's called Kars Mould Cecil). The hotel is centrally located, it's just down the street from Kars Castle, Merkez Kümbet mosque and Taş Köprü (stone bridge). We also walked over fo the Kars Cheese museum (about 20 minutes). We were there in mid-April and the town is pretty windy and dusty, so you can't keep the windows open in the hotel otherwise dust gets everywhere. We had a car rental, and were able to get free street parking no problem across the street from the hotel.

Great value for money! A simple, but decent hotel with clean rooms, good wifi, nice breakfast and very affordable hammam downstairs. Owner is kind and helpful!
