Very nice small boutique hotel very close to the railway station and about a ten minute walk from the city centre! Nice large rooms and well decorated! Comfortable bed and everything is clean incl the bathroom! The breakfast is joy for the stomach and eyes! Last but not least are the wonderful friendly and very helpful staff! Highly recommended!!

Oh my god.. what an amazing place to stay! This old ottoman style hotel is the best we had in 25 years Türkey. The owner Habib renovated it in 9 years and the result is amazing..feels like going back centuries. Everything is breathing the ottoman period. Habib is the best host you can get.. kind,helpful. The moment you arrive it feels like you know him already for a long time. Enjoy the days in Sille with his relaxing Atmosphere. Thank you Habib..we will be back !

The friendliness of the staff and the welcome Turkish coffee:) the rooms are spacious and its only an 6 min walking distance from the Mevlana Square. I also got a 10% discount voucher to a local restaurant where delicious local food was served. The rooms are spacious, and clean.

Our first impression was the hotel's huge private parking lot. The staff were quite polite and accommodating. The room surprised us with a round bed that could fit 4-5 people, ample storage space, and a separate work area. The breakfast was superb. The hotel is very pet-friendly, and our cat absolutely loved the room.

Konya is a conservative city with virtually no alcohol.

Konya is a conservative city with virtually no alcohol. It's pleasant but not particularly photogenic except for the area around Mevlana Museum and two nearby parks. The museum itself is serene and beautiful with its exhibits, including the caskets of Rumi and other Sufi saints, and depictions of monastic life. Other highlights include a stunning educational center at the archeological site of Catalhoyuk, and the picturesque town of Sille in the foothills.

This was a lovely city. there is so much to see especially...

This was a lovely city. there is so much to see especially if you are staying in the older part of the city. I loved walking around the city sightseeing. You would find the most unexpected shopping experience as well as cultural. The people are also nice here gives you a small town vibe.

Enjoyed visiting the Mevlana Museum, well laid out and well preserved. Visited Allaaddin Hill -- a pleasant place to sit, rest and reflect. Unfortunately no nearby cafe or eatery (so take some food and drink with you). A visit to the Butterfly Valley is recommended.

Impressions from Visiting Konya

Impressions from Visiting Konya Visiting Konya was a very special experience. As a significant religious center, it stands out as quite different from other places in Turkey. One of the most positive aspects I noticed was that nearly all museums are free of charge for all visitors—not just Turkish citizens—which is a major plus. Although I didn’t use public transportation myself because my hotel was located outside the city center, the system appeared to be well-organized. For future travelers, I would recommend staying in or near the city center with access to the tram network, which makes it easy to reach all parts of Konya. I also really enjoyed the local restaurants. They were easy to find, offered a wide variety of traditional Turkish dishes, and maintained a high standard of hygiene. The food was delicious, and the overall dining experience was very pleasant. Konya left a strong impression on me, and I would definitely recommend it to others looking for a culturally rich and well-managed destination in Turkey.

Public transport: I don't think that the information...

Public transport: I don't think that the information available online, that bank cards work on the bus or in the tram, is correct. A Konya card is a must, and there simply isn't an option for a Tourist to obtain one (it is tied to a national Turkish number).

Great city with wonderful places to explore.

Great city with wonderful places to explore. Can recommend the the Mevlana complex, the Butterfly gardens, the Panorama and archeological museums. The archeological area of Cztalhoyuk is a special place to discover.

The place is fabulous! Wonderful lobby, great breakfast (which you will have to pay aside 500 TL), Staff speaks good English and will help you with luggage, taxi, shuttle, everything. Hotel close to major sightings in Konya and restaurants. Spacious bedroom, very comfortable mattress, great bathroom with lots of add-ons. They have a spa in which some of the activities are free for guests. Very satisfied!
