Lovely small and quiet hotel in Aktas. Owner and stuff are very kind and helpful people. The atmosphere is very positive. WiFi works well outside and inside of the hotel. My partner loved the included breakfast. Rooms are pretty small, but it is good because air conditioning can very quickly reduce room temperature. We stayed for a week when it was +40C - the swimming pool outside was a great place for relaxation after a busy day. The only downside - pool was closed at night, but the local beach is only 3 minutes walking that can be used 24/7. There are plenty of restaurants at the local beach and a shop that is open almost all night. Perfect location 15-minute drive from Marmaris centre by taxi about 10 euro or by local regular minibus about 1 euro pps one way. Overall, we had a great stay! If we ever go back to this area, we will definitely pick the same hotel.

We loved our stay at the apartment!! It's located in the very heart of Grand Bazar and the old town of Marmaris close to the marina and all the restaurants and attractions. The host was extremely thoughtful and attentive and went out of his way to solve our problems. The apartment looks exactly like in the pictures, it's very clean, there's a washing machine which was essential for us, the AC worked very well and the Internet connection allowed me to work. I especially recommend this apartment to those who don't mind walking to the beach and also want to take the ferry to Rhodes, both the beach and the port are within walking distance which is amazing. There is a supermarket nearby in 38 Sokak, so you don't have to walk in the heat. To get to the beach, the best option is to walk through the roofed streets of Grand Bazar as they are air-conditioned somehow. Totally recommended!

Max Mirage is a new hotel in Selimiye, situated in a great location- you are literally a few steps away from the sea front. The staff were exceptional and very helpful all throughout our stay. Car park was available which made it very convenient as it’s hard to find parking in Selimiye. Great place to stay, would definitely stay here going forward.

If you want beaches, boat trips, holiday crowds, hot and sunny weather, then Marmaris is a good choice. If, like us, you do not want those things, its a great place to have one night before and/or taking the ferry to/from Rhodes. Out of season, when we went, it is pleasant and friendly, although we were ripped off by taxis on two out of four occasions (and we speak reasonable Turkish). A destination for cruise ships in high season. The small castle houses a small but very good and important museum with Archaic and Hellenistic pieces. Only needs one hour to visit.

Marmaris is very touristy with high UK, EU tourist prices (i.e., very expensive for Australians). There are a lot of British restaurants. The beaches are not very nice (dirt, not sand). There are also a lot of touts offering an endless array of expensive tours. Prices are offered in GBP and Euro which does not help Australians (who can only pay in Turkish Lira). The town itself is quite interesting to visit for a few days. Walking along the esplanade is relaxing. Driving in and out of Marmaris is beautiful, offering spectacular views from the mountains.

Marmaris is a fantastic town — the restaurants, shops, and overall atmosphere were wonderful. The shopkeepers do try to invite you into their stores, but they’re not pushy — if you say no, they leave you alone. The shopping is excellent, especially for sportswear, trainers, shoes, and bags — lots of great bargains and very good fakes. We visited at the end of September, which turned out to be an ideal time to go, with a nice mix of people and a great vibe. Icmeler is just 10 minutes away by taxi (around 500 lira) or by bus (about 1 euro), and buses run every five minutes, so I definitely recommend using them. Icmeler is also a beautiful town and a great place to stay. I’ll definitely be coming back for another holiday!

Marmaris is beautiful , and is a great base for exploring the Turkish coastline by sea taxi or ferry , has everything you need and the local Turkish people are very friendly and are willing to go out of there way to help you if needed , loved it here :)

Great castle and museum - with amazing Roman artifacts and a splendid view from the battlements. The undercover market was huge and cool in the heat. The water show at 21:00 each evening was excellent Easy to get about on small buses cost 50p for entire journey. Lots of good places to eat - some even without a giant TV showing the football !!

If you want cheaper food and drinks stay off the beach front at night, but found not to bad .there are plenty of bars and restaurants away from the beach area.on a food budget nip into blueport shopping mall upstairs variety off foods all at affordable prices. Talk off the town evening show great very funny, worth a visit and drinks are good .

Fantastic hotel with amazingly friendly staff. The room was very clean and comfortable with a fantastic view from the balcony. The room was very quite during the night and the beds were very comfortable. The bathroom was very clean and the power shower was amazing. The Turkish breakfast was very tasty and varied and all of the ingredients were very fresh. We would definitely stop at this hotel if we went to Marmaris again. Highly recommended.

Amazing location, just footsteps away from Marina/Marmaris Fort/Bar street/Grand market on all sides. Basically at the center of everything in Marmaris. Very good rooms, more than adequate size, clean room/washroom. Thoroughly enjoyed staying there and will recommend to anyone coming to marmaris. Loved the breakfast by the marina in Bono Restaurant. Im glad we chose this Hotel.

This hotel is excellent. The staff are so helpful and it spotless clean. The restaurant Happily excellent with a really good menu for all tastes. I would definitely recommend here and will definitely go back to stay. It is an ideal location in marmaris with plenty to offer for the whole family.

Location is great, Icmeler sea is not the best one but view is very beautiful. All inclusive food is fine but alcohol type is weak. The hotel's own beach feels pretty convenient and room size was good level with a nice balcony. The hotel provides towel for beach daily.
