Great location. Breakfast was above what was expected. Friendly staff. Room was clean upon arrival. There was a little confusion during check in due to how Booking.com compensates the hotel with a virtual credit card, however it was all taken care of once the receptionist was given a little time to figure out how to apply the virtual card to our room.

I was impressed, because the hotel was better than I expected. I didn’t picked it by myself and the reviews were not great. But when I came, I was impressed from the lobby and front desk. I like the cleanliness of the room, nice reception zone, friendliness of staff especially Ashley in the bar! She is awesome! Pretty big pool area, good for kids.

Staff was amazingly friendly, always willing to help and make your stay more enjoyable. The pool was crazy, but there was a hockey tournament in town, for the most part all the kids were well behaved (as much as a hockey team of boys can be). The pool was warm, major plus with little kids.

Lawrence University is located in Appleton, about 6 miles from the Americ Inn Wyndham. The downtown and the campus are very picturesque. Note that Booking.com claims this hotel is only a mile from "downtown". This is not true and significant for a traveler who flew into town and does not have a car. Transportation is easily available on Lyft and / or via taxi to and from the locations and the Appleton Airport, which is totally updated.

Appelton is a great location for the fine arts building and...

Appelton is a great location for the fine arts building and the many bars and restaurants that are on College Avenue. There’s always something going on. A very diverse culture everyone seems to always be having a great time. There’s always a band playing at one of the bars we Uber ride everywhere and park at our hotel. It’s just a fun city lots of great food.

Grew up in Appleton nice to visit family and see how it has changed since I left. New restaurants, PAC, places to see and visit. Great cheese factory in Little Chute area and if you like good candy Wilmar's should be a place to visit.

We happened to be there the day Octoberfest was being...

We happened to be there the day Octoberfest was being celebrated. This made getting around the downtown area difficult. We were in town for a Celebration of Life for a friend so we drove in, stayed the night, attended the service and headed back to MN. We did not get to sample the city of Appleton at all.

It's a cute little place, not to city like but not country.

It's a cute little place, not to city like but not country. The mall is a nice mall if you like to shop. Many really awesome restaurants in the area. Just a nice place to escape to and to get out of town for a day or 2. Love the variety of stores to check out too. I love thrift stores and they have a lot of really awesome ones there to check out too. We tried some new restaurants as well and so far never been to a one we didn't enjoy as of yet. Would suggest it to anyone who needs a break from every day life.

Have been there many times since we have family there, but there is a lot to do and see. The shopping is great, both at the Fox River Mall area and the small shops downtown. There are lots of options for eating, all types of food and all price ranges.

The staff here went out of their way to make our stay comfortable and it was actually a shame to leave, I could not have asked for anything else, there was a friendly welcome at the front desk, a friendly face at breakfast and a friendly face at check out too. My room was very clean and of a very good size, the facilities in this hotel also were good, although I didn’t have time to use them I did have a look, and everything was so well kept. I would recommend staying here, I would definitely stay again!

Beds were comfortable/acceptable and the rest of the room worked for our overnight stay. Lots of parking available and others have mentioned, it can be tricky to get to. If I remember correctly, the service road to it is off N Westhill Blvd..
