It was my first time on the snow so I didn't know what to expect. I arrived during the night and got a quick check in, the room is not luxury but has a good microwave, a small fridge and coffee maker. The room is warm, including a wall heating in the bathroom that make super confy to have a good shower. On the next day when we wake up we had an amazing front view of beech mountain, maybe this is the best part. You'll have to drive a 3 minutes to the sky station, there is a charm little restaurant in the hotel that offer pizza and some drinks that makes it very convenient if you don't want to go out. There's no breakfast included but you can have it down the hall with a scenic view of the mountain.

Beech Mountain was a wonderful vacation.

Beech Mountain was a wonderful vacation. I went in mid June and it was fantastic! The weather was soooo nice!!! High of 70 the whole week, which was such an amazing break from my normal 90+ degree weather. I highly recommend Beech Mountain for your next family get away.

Very responsive hosts; beautiful view from the home; We watched New Years Eve fireworks on the deck (although it was very cold). Our kids walked to the slopes for skiing/snowboarding. Loved the backyard for our dogs, who enjoyed looking for their new deer friends each day. Driveway was very easy to get in and out of with the snow. We will definitely stay here again if in the area. It was the perfect house for us!

Loved the drive up the mountain.

Loved the drive up the mountain. We had trouble getting through gate as entry box was not readily seen. Another driver helped us. We drove around for a bit trying to find our unit. A workman sent us in the right direction. Once in the one-bed unit, we were disappointed as there was no mountain view. The unit was comfortable, cozy, well-equipped, and nicely decorated. As our stay continued, the unit grew on us. For the price, I don't think we would return.

We could walk to everything from our suite to any place to eat or jus enjoy browsing to souvenirs to taking gorgeous pictures of the Mountains and slopes..We ate breakfast @ Fred's which is driving distance or walking..We ate lunch @ Holy Smokes ( The Wolf Lodge)which has the best delicious barbque and brisket 's a really good home-cooked meal...

There was ice under the man-mad snow that made trying to carve turns difficult and choppy. The place during the week was busy and can't imagine what it is like on the weekends. I am glad I left when I did because it rained all day Friday then was going down to 15 F which would make me think twice about skiing. $22 for a locker was outrageous.

Beautiful mountain town, no matter the season.

Beautiful mountain town, no matter the season. Great little ski town. Amazing people. Beautiful natural setting. There's something for everyone to do., year-round. We've been visiting Beech mountain for years & highly recommend it to anyone wishing to visit the NC mountains!

We enjoyed every moment of stay at this amazing vacation home. Spotlessly clean with great showers and comfortable beds. Loved the kitchen, perfect to cook our favourite recipes. The host has truly thought of everything, all we had to do was relax and enjoy our stay. Perfect location, the kids loved the sledding hill! Stunning views that we enjoyed while sitting round the cozy fire. Thank you for an unforgettable few days in the Lovely Beech Mountain Condo!

The apartment was clean, spacious and comfortable, we were three people (and a dog) so had to use the living room's sofa/open bed as well, which was in front of the electric fireplace and large screen tv. There was also a patio, and the coolest thing was probably the deer family that came to visit in the morning. The town (Beech Mountain) is a ski resort, we were only there for a night so just passing through.

If you want a vintage experience, this is the perfect place, everything in the hotel is very old but at the same time very well cared for, and for us, being young, it was a surprising and pleasant experience.
