Centrally located in the Historic Waterfront Community of Benicia, Best Western Plus Heritage Inn is just minutes from Vallejo. Guests of the hotel can enjoy a free hot breakfast buffet and free WiFi.... The staff is so so nice and personable. I was there with my daughter for 11 nights and it was great. The hotel has a homie feel to it where we both felt welcomed. Thank you BW!! 😁😁
This Benicia hotel offers uniquely-decorated guest rooms and free Wi-Fi. A free continental breakfast is served daily. An private bathroom with spa bath is offered in each guest room. This is the beautiful hotel in the city center and close to Marina/bay. Room was spacious, clean, and had beautiful, classic furniture. Staff was helpful and courteous. Nice breakfast. I loved staying there and will certainly return when I need an overnight stay in Benicia. Highly recommend this hotel.
Shorelight Inn is a waterfront bed and breakfast located in Benicia. Several restaurants and charming shops are available along Benicia’s main street just steps away. Free WiFi access is available. Really nice suite, it was well equipped and comfortable! Bigger than expected with beautiful furniture and great tub! The water view was terrific!
This Martinez motel is a 20-minute drive from Six Flags Discovery Kingdom. The motel offers an outdoor pool, 24-hour front desk and free on-site parking. For my second time visiting Muir Lodge, it was as good as my first. I love the rooms, the bathrooms are very nice. The first night my partner stole the blanket, however the second time I utilized the extra blanket provided and it was so warm and comfortable. Overrall a great place to stay.
This is a picturesque little town on the Bay with lots of history. It has lots of restaurants, bars and shops all within walking distance. If you arrive by boat, the Benicia Yacht Club is very welcoming and will meet all of your boating needs.
Downtown Benicia is a hidden gem in the Bay Area. Quaint downtown Main St. with many little shops and some very good restaurants'. There is a Marina a short walk from downtown and nice area to walk along the Bay.
A pretty, small town on the bay side. The Main Street down to the water consists of pleasant small independent shops, bars and restaurants catering for all tastes. Easy access to bay ferry in Vallejo to downtown San Francisco.
Nice area and room was nice and clean. Was very hard to get parking while we were there because it is just what you can find on the street. Was close to restaurants and shops and views of the bay were close to walk to. The WiFi was very very slow. No ice available. Had one tiny tiny tray to make cubes, and it was empty when we arrived but Ann was nice to bring us a small bag. But the tray was not enough to hardly make one ice water or tea. We had to walk to another area for our breakfast because our area was under renovation and we did not know that until we arrived. But the breakfast was very good with many choices and chatted with our host while eating. Overall was a nice place to stay a few days and enjoy the area.
Loved it ambience and slower pace - far better than closer to San Francisco central. The ferry service to downtown, from Vallejo - just a few minutes drive down the highway, was great. Stress free and straight into the centre! Price was good, particularly as a senior. Would stay again at the drop of a hat and for longer. The ferry would get more use from us also, if we could get back again! Just loved it. Being close enough to a big city centre but far enough away to be quiet and restful - and realistically priced too.
We had breakfast at the One House Bakery. It was excellent! We drove around the town a bit and found it very quaint, and wished we had more time to explore more of it. We also had a meal at Sprankle's Deli. Great food, nice atmosphere, friendly staff. They have a nice collection of pre-made sandwiches, or you can "make your own" by selecting your choice of meats and bread. Highly recommended.
Benicia is a smart, small middle class town on the upper bay. This hotel is well sited with easy access to the freeway and town. Whilst not new the hotel is well maintained, very clean and tidy. We enjoyed our stay there and no real problems. The dining area is underwhelming but the breakfast was adequate with both hot and cold options available.
Desk staff very friendly and responsive. I blup on 1 day where morning staff did not show up to deliver BK. So friendly a;; of the time. I loved the restaurant next door. My fav in Benicia
Quaint bed and breakfast. Very clean and inviting. Beautiful updated bathroom. Grounds impeccable . Awesome location to downtown Benicia and waterfront.
I know the hotel wasn’t full. Had very loud neighbors. Maybe spreading out rooms that are rented when not full
Perfect location. Close to everything. We are able to walk all around downtown and to the Bay.
