Everything. The room is lovingly furnished. The owner were extremely kind. I also loved the quiet music in the hall, it was really relaxing. WiFi worked very well, not like many other hotels, who WiFi is totally useless

No breakfast provided. We loved the view from every room in the home. Really spectacular. we loved the friendly chickens and cats (couldn't sleep with them because of possible allergies). Saw beautiful deer almost every day. The stars at night were ridiculously beautiful (not like urban living). Close proximity to beauty was stunning.

I stayed at the Sunglow some years ago but the new owners have done a lot of work to update all the rooms and they are much more pleasant and modern. The new owner was exceptionally helpful and kind when I had a small car problem for which I am very grateful. Other staff were genuinely friendly and I enjoyed my stay. The cafe has good food (great local pies) and is a good option in Bicknell.

Bates Motel. On a busy spring night when other hotels in the area were packed, this property was completely dark and no cars were in the parking lot. It felt abandoned. The staff was rude. I asked them to cancel my reservation, figuring I’d rather sleep in the car if need be.
