I went for a high school graduation and to visit family.
I went for a high school graduation and to visit family. It was a great trip. Hotel was wonderful food everywhere. We ate was wonderful.Definitely, go to coco's mexican restaurant.It was delicious.

We were there for a gymnastics meet that was close to the motel and left immediately after it was over, so we didn't have much interaction, but both venues were nice. The roads were good and we went through a round-about which is exciting to my wife for some reason 🤷😁

My wife and I traveled to Cabot to view the total solar eclipse. It is a nice little town for an event like that. We had a nice viewing area right on our hotel's grounds. We ate steak dinner at Colton's, breakfast at Ihop and ice cream sundaes from Freddies.

Cabot is a sundown town and you can tell that many of the people do not regularly interact with people of color. There wasn't a lot of out and out racism but the continual stares and keeping an eye on where you are is rather uncomfortable.

The hot water in the shower was fantastic! Rarely have I stayed at a hotel where I could actually take a full shower with continuous hot water with great pressure! Also, there where only 2 chairs in the room so management let us borrow a couple from the lobby to accommodate board games with family during our stay!
