Although we made our reservation 2-3 months prior, when we arrived Thursday we were told that there were no rooms available (King, no smoking) and that the motel was booked up. After some discussion, the motel relented and gave us an alternate accommodation (double beds, no smoking). For the first two nights of our stay, the motel parking lot was virtually empty. Only on Saturday night did there appear to a full parking lot. The motel should have honored our reservation and switched us to what appeared to be a vacant room for the three nights we were there instead of saving it for someone who arrived Saturday night. Other than this situation, the motel was fine and we enjoyed our stay.

The staff was super friendly and gave us some great suggestions about the area. The breakfast was good. (It was a little tricky to get in to the parking. They need to say that the entrance road LOOKS like it is the gas station parking lot. We missed the turn twice!)
