Everything was outstanding! The hotel is gorgeous, but what really stands out is their extremely friendly, courteous, professional, helpful, and amazing employees!!!! We traveled from Pittsburgh, Pa for my daughter to visit Clemson University. After checking in, one of the employees helped me with all of my luggage. This meant so much, especially after such a long drive. Then we stopped at our beautiful room and freshened up, went to the bar on the 3rd floor where we met the bartender, Emily Jo. It just happened to be my birthday. Emily Jo was so personable and made my birthday special! She's the best! Now about the rooms.... fabulous!!!! The most comfortable beds I have ever slept in during a stay at a hotel, and everything was so clean, new, and cozy. The restaurant's food is delicious and healthy. Additionally, the valet guys were awesome! Again, everyone was so kind, professional, and efficient. Loved it here so much, it was hard to say goodbye!!!

Location was great. Staff was very friendly and helpful. Plenty of parking with easy access to hotel entrance. Breakfast was adequate, a typical hotel "hot breakfast" with the usual powdered eggs, turkey and pork sausage, biscuits, fruit, yogurt, and bread. They had pastries but I didn't try them. Definitely better than nothing, and a decent number of tables.

Awesome experience, on game day or work day or get away day, or weekend away. 3/4 hour from major cities, college town feel with research and innovation all around with winding block or mortar back alley steps to find bookstore or ice cream or bike shop along canopies of old moss covered oaks. Right on top of Lake Hartwell and I believe a little glimpse of heaven when the sun shines just right.

Clemson for my nephew was a wonderful place to attend...

Clemson for my nephew was a wonderful place to attend University. He said it was small and friendly, and felt like a community. The nature all around Clemson, the university and the park on campus are truly lovely. Our visit to the house of the founders of Clemson University and the docents there who gave us the tour were personable, professional and knowledgeable. I think they were all volunteers. So much rich history, with paintings and furniture, silverware and grand dining rooms let me think about what it would be like to live in a house like either one on campus.

We usually go for some type of sporting event.

We usually go for some type of sporting event. But we have always found other cool things to do beside the sporting event. I would check the Garrison Arena. It always seems to have something going on. We have been to a rodeo and a armory combat competition. Of course the Botanical garden is great!

Well I think anyone visiting this area would be very pleased...

Well I think anyone visiting this area would be very pleased with the area's surroundings. There's a lot of shopping. There's a Aldi grocery store. A Five Below, shoe store, petco and a few restaurants in walking distance. If you want to explore further, within 5 minutes of driving There's a lot of restaurants and fast food places. It's a lot to do and explore while here and relaxation for those who just choose to do that.

The location was convenient to the store’s & restaurants. The cleaning staff was poorly trained. They didn’t restock any items and my room & the floor was dirty in the bathroom and kitchen areas needed mopping. The floor left my feet black. I booked a room with a view of the lake and pool but when arriving I was given the lower level back parking lot view. I kept the room since it had a great kitchen area to cook. If I wasn’t planning to cook meals than I would have been more likely to have requested to change my room!

The campus was incredibly quiet the day after Thanksgiving,...

The campus was incredibly quiet the day after Thanksgiving, especially considering there was a noon football game the next day. The beautiful landscaping still had lots of fall color. I recommend visiting the Botanical Gardens any time of year.
