It had a great location and was both cheerful and peaceful at the same time. The renovations look great and our room was very clean and smelled great - so new. I really enjoyed the balcony with chairs and the waterfront view. Also the fireplace in the lobby. When we had to check out early to try to go catch the eclipse, Kody followed up and emailed me my receipt when he said he would.

The owner/operators clearly give a ding-dang. Very clean, organized motel. Very caring and conscientious owners. Physically situated oddly between the two directions of hwy 101, however just across street from the river shore and a very short 5 minute walk from old downtown Coos

We loved that the house was dog friendly and on a quiet street that allowed us to walk our dogs around the neighborhood. We liked that the location was convenient to Safeway and Fred Meyer and other downtown businesses. The beds were comfortable, the kitchen was stocked with basics for eating and cooking and it was nice to have a washer and dryer. Also there were several streaming options on the tv.

We were traveling with a baby and made it to town early, we were able to check in a little earlier- was just so nice and helped us a lot! So grateful. We did break a lamp setting up a pack and play but the property was so understanding and offered just for us to pay for the lamp. They made traveling and fixing damages so easy. Second time we stayed with them and will do it again next year! Without breaking a lamp this time..

Coos Bay is a Great Place to visit.

Coos Bay is a Great Place to visit. There's many events throughout the year. Visit Shore Acres Botanical gardens, Mingus Park or John Topits park. Always remember there's the amazing Oregon Coast with Shore or Deep Sea Fishing, Crabbing and the Oysters. Coos Bay and North Bend offer many Motels, or Camping/RV facilities. We find "Sun Outdoors" is Great for camping/RV or Cabin Rentals. It's right on the beach and close to Simpson Reef with the Sea Lions and Seals. Love eating at "The Boat" for fish and chips.

Great town, with lots to see and do. Weather was so nice, which was a plus! We visited friends for their wedding anniversary celebration, and they showed up around town, which was nice as they know the town

Beautiful area, great for photos with dog friendly beaches. Access to ocean and bay areas for boating, paddle board and kayaking. We were house hunting and it was easy to get around. There are plenty of places to eat that are not fast food, lots of seafood and a good variety of fast food places.

This location is perfectly remote and quiet with amazing...

This location is perfectly remote and quiet with amazing lighthouse, beach, and ocean views. The rooms are large and the home is very comfortable and livable. The property has its own stairway to the beach. It’s 59 stair steps to the beach and the staircase is in excellent condition. The beach was very nice with plenty of places to view starfish and other marine life at low tide. This home is not fancy and this made us feel very much at home. We all were sad to have not been able to stay longer.

We enjoyed the nearby casino.

We enjoyed the nearby casino. The motel breakfast was nice, with yogurts, juices, cereal, coffee…. We went to a nearby restaurant, “So It Goes Coffeehouse” and enjoyed their breakfast. We also had a great dinner at the casino! Our favorite stop this trip!

Uncrowded spectacular landscapes with friendly people. The weather is a little cold all the time, like San Francisco weather so a good escape during increasingly hotter summer months. I wish there were more nice hotel choices available. .

WOW…just WOW. What an excellent host. Great location(1km from town) close to restaurants and market. Very well stocked house…like your own house…but better!! Large apartment with EVERYTHING you will ever need. We loved Coos Bay, but we think Miss Ellie’s made us love it more.
