United KingdomGreeted by paper and rubbish at the entrance and overflowing smelly bins across the site only cleaned after we complained. Room was not serviced as paid for and advertised on website, the door chain was held together by a piece of old wire. The owner was extremely difficult until we insisted on it being sorted, we moved to another room which took a while as the key did not work. The fridge needed a good clean. In both rooms there was a coffee machine and supplied but no cups !
Such potential and great location if only they clean it up !!

Nice mountain community.
Nice mountain community. The bowling alley next door was convenient and a fun place to spend the afternoon after a morning hike. The slides and obstacle course on the lake were a blast for the kids. My son enjoyed fishing one early morning. Didn't catch any fish but everyone around us was very helpful and friendly. We also liked the hiking trail around the lake.

Crestline is a beautiful little community high up in the Mountains near San Bernardino. It has a lot of curvy roads, and they charge to use Gregory Lake. The Mexican restaurant by the cliff Rim of the World was very good. The views of the valley below coming off the ridge are amazing.

I would definitely recommend this home for a staycation away...
I would definitely recommend this home for a staycation away from home my family and I really enjoyed ourselves! We cooked our own food. Getting around crestline was easy and my family and I absolutely loved the scenery while doing so.

We love Crestline when we need a weekend to recharge.
We love Crestline when we need a weekend to recharge. It's so quiet and peaceful there with all the trees and the slower pace. We went antiquing (it was too cold for lake activities) and bowling, and I went for a run around the lake. We ate at the Bear House and Sweet Pea Poke and both were very good.

I felt at home. My kids and I were able to relax together. And also enough room to give each other some space to do our thang. Lol. I would highly recommend this cozy cabin to anyone who likes lakes mountains and fresh air.

Lovely get away for the weekend!
Lovely get away for the weekend! Nice grocery store and a few good restaurants! Kids enjoyed the lake activities and we loved the nature walk around the Gregory Lake! Wish we would have stayed longer! For sure we are coming back! We left right before the huge holiday crowd! Tony’s Mexican food is a great spot with lake view. Had breakfast at Crestline Cafe, but they did take forever to get us a table, alot longer than what they had said and our food took another 40 minutes to come!

What a charming, comfortable hotel! Even though our stay was on Christmas, the manager was able to check us in promptly and show us to our room. The room was huge, with plenty of space for a portable crib. The heater kept things warm through the night, everything was clean, and checkout was a breeze. The hotel is located right on a main road, making it convenient to get to, with several eating options nearby. Friendly staff/manager, good amenities. Slept well.

The beds were very comfortable, and the whole place was relaxing and clean. We loved using the game room, watching TV,, cooking in the nice kitchen, and sitting at the large dining room table (11 people) where we could all sit and eat and play board games! visiting Lake Gregory and Lake Arrowhead. We really enjoyed our stay here!
