CanadaI like that there was a bar in the cafeteria, me and wife enjoyed a couple of beer while watching the game. The free breakfast, girls enjoyed the swimming pool. Me and my son enjoyed the small gym. Room and facility were clean.
I also like the location its right next to the big gas station, and right across Walmart. I also see burger king from a distance.

Great town lots to do.
Great town lots to do. The pool was perfect for our kids had a nice slide for our young family (kids 3 and 6). Would have liked to explore a little more down town looked nice. Did stop into Mary Anns had a ice cream/arcade was fun for the kids. The park by the pool had lots of age appropriate play areas and was clean and well taken care of.

Don't bother going to Hardees on a Sunday at 6:00, got a 3/4 cup of COLD (not even luke wam) coffee at the drive up and asked for 2 cream, they sent out French vanilla and of course I didn't know this until I was on the hiway heading out of town.

If you're here to fish, the Cobblestone even provides a place to clean and package your catch. But as a trip stopover, the town of Devils Lake doesn't have a lot to recommend it. The main grocery store was pretty run down. Restaurant choices aren't great. Everyone we saw looked kind of worn down and weary. Basically, we were very happy to move on in the morning.
We'd really been looking forward to seeing the nearby White Horse Hill National Game Preserve, but it was a bust too, what with the federal law enforcement types seemingly targeting Native people for unknown offenses. The group of youngsters they'd jacked up as we were leaving the site didn't know it, but they were going to soon be met with a swarm of sheriff units on their way from town. Very sad overall.

Went to the casino spirit lake, the whole reason for the trip to devils lake. Would never and I mean never go back. Rude staff not one night but both nights. Here I figured I would give the staff another chance the following night after being treated so rude. What a waste of time and money to go there again for the same treatment. They don’t care about customers at all they are just there to collect a paycheque. Will never go back to that town.

We enjoyed fishing at the lake and we enjoyed going to the casino. We had a family reunion at ruger park which is the perfect place for a get together with family. My son was able to go swimming at the swimming pool near the park.

Bed was especially comfortable. Room was nice and clean. Previous guest had changed the HDMI connection; front desk attendant resolved the issue. Room was quiet for a busy hotel.
