Great views of historic downtown and beautiful Mississippi...
Great views of historic downtown and beautiful Mississippi River. Easy access to terrific, diverse dining and activities. The businesses made visitors feel very welcome. Gotta go to the Mississippi River Museum and Aquarium! Eagle Point Park is so unique, historic and breathtaking views of river from the high bluffs--awesome picnic, walking and gathering areas and shelters! One of the best municipal parks anywhere!!

Very nice king size suite.
Very nice king size suite. We have never had a room with a fan in the Living room section. Nice touch. Always nice to have two televisions.
We had to report that the shower was not operating correctly and they responded appropriately.
Good breakfast choices.
Unfortunately, the toilet was so low, it was difficult to get up and down

Dubuque has an interesting history and is full of buildings...
Dubuque has an interesting history and is full of buildings from the 1800s. There is a wonderful selection of restaurants. For the curious, there are museums, live performances, casinos, and sites to visit. I recommend stopping there for a few days to check it out.

Loved the little town.
Loved the little town. Ate at Birdies Bistro, was just blocks from hotel, for breakfast and food was good and big portions for great price and the server was friendly. Drove up in the hills where Big houses overlooked downtown, was very quaint!

Love variety of shopping available.
Love variety of shopping available. Everything was easy to get to and within 15 minutes drive. Visited the Mississippi River Aquatic Museum. Had such great time. Learned alot of history on Dubuque and the exhibits. Want to go back with grandchildren one day soon.

I loved that this is an old historic building with an interesting story. Robert , the owner, who is the only staff member is very interesting to talk to. He gave me a detailed history of the inn as well as Dubuque. The breakfast is amazing & exceptionally good coffee ( rare in America in my experience). Within walking distance of lots of sites, Monk bar which is good for a relaxed drink & close to restaurants. Easy parking

Room size was excellent. Breakfast good with 4 or 5 choices of hot food. Several entrances making it easier to park near your room. Pool area excellent and clean. Situation perfect for Dubuque.
