United StatesBreakfast was yummy! We were impressed by the cleanliness of our room. We were a bit nervous about the crowded area right outside of our room but we weren't disturbed by any noise or smoke, so that was great! We very much enjoyed our stay and the comfy room. Thank you!

Aside from that the room was basic and nice. I could say the shower was better than expected with good pressure and temperature.

Great location to visit Great Basin National Park which contains the Lehman Caves, camping & hiking. Ely also has a historic railway with restored building and themed train rides including steam engines. Cave Lake state park nearby.

Our second time staying at Copper Queen.
Our second time staying at Copper Queen. We like the location, all the amenities, great staff, clean rooms, good food, gambling and much more. We ate at their restaurant and their Pub. The Train Depot is in town and offers train rides for a fee. We took one of the tours. We also discovered this small 50's diner inside the pharmacy. Best Banana Split ever!

Ely is a nice little town.
Ely is a nice little town. We were just passing through so didnt explore the town much. But we did pass through twice with all of our worldly possessions and did not worry one bit about our stuff being stolen or vandalized. I did talk with other patrons who loved to visit that town and explore all the fun stuff there was to offer, primarily outdoorsy type activities.

Ely is a cute little town.
Ely is a cute little town. The historic area is quite nice, but there does appear to be some economic depression too. Many closed up buildings and businesses. The people are very friendly. Close to the Ward Ovens and Cave Lake.

The area around Ely is very beautiful and is the reason we came to Ely. Sadly the town itself looks like it is suffering economically. Many of the businesses were shut town and boarded up. There were not too many places to eat either for breakfast or dinner especially a bit later at night. We thought Ely would be more of a tourist town and that it would be open later especially with casinos. We had no interest in casinos but thought that would bring in business.

Great place to stay if visiting the Great Basin National...
Great place to stay if visiting the Great Basin National Park and surrounding area. Plenty of local restaurants in Ely. Town was safe and quiet. Good weather. Plenty of gas stations/convenience stores available for road trip supplies and morning coffe.
