This was a great weekend getaway with my husband. Having the private hot tub made it so much enjoyable. It was clean and cozy. We would definitely recommend to friends and family for a couples getaway or family trip. ☺️
Esters park is wonderful. From a romantic fine dining restaurant to reasonably priced restaurants, you will find it all here. Check out the shops. Touristy-yes. But still fun. Be sure and get your choice of taffy. Very friendly waitstaff and shopkeepers. While you are there head not Tocky Mountain National Park for spectacular views of the mountains
It was beautiful scenery! Our room was in a good location. It was close to downtown shopping with plenty of free public parking. We had a wonderful time choosing restaurants and looking through the shops. My husband enjoyed eating at the Grubsteak and having his elk burger. I enjoyed shopping at Simply Christmas. We will be coming back again next year!
Estes park is a beautiful little mountain town. The shopping street was (Christmas time) lit up with lights! And everything looked clean and cozy. The people are friendly. The trails for hiking are amazing and the nature here is beautiful. If you’d enjoy a nice relaxed quiet time you should Visit Estes park. Visit the Stanley hotel!
Estes Park is very easy to travel in and around. Colorado people are very friendly and helpful. they make you feel at home and not touristy. the restaurants always had just what we wanted. I feel God did a wonderful job with the mountains and scenery.
Great park with lots of wonderful scenery and wildlife. Be prepared for the weather changes as well as the increase/decrease of altitude. Lots of restaurants to choice from even being off season.
Me and my family stay at Estes Park a lot. But this hotel was by far the friendliness and made our stay great one Out family got a nice getaway after New Years and they made us feel at home the hot tub to relax and staff were so nice and welcoming guys in the front. Also x had s’mores for the kids. It was a great getaway and will definitely go again and refer others to this hotel.
Place was conveniently located...just a few minutes drive from downtown Estes Park. The value was pretty good...particularly on weekdays. Parts of the hotel (hallways, reception, etc) were dated. But the rooms themselves were clearly recently renovated. Rooms were modern, attractive and comfortable. Rooms were very clean. Would recommend this hotel!
Estes Park

Blue Door is one of many Estes Park hotels on the main drag. I’ve stayed in others for years but Blue popped up on Bookings with a great price. I was extremely pleased by the staff, the simple but clean room and got late July in a Tourist town, a very fair rate. Highly recommended.

Breakfast was adequate, the lil omelettes were the best part. The room was just enough, cozy and a very comfortable bed. The folks at the front desk were very friendly and welcoming. I did not use the pool but it looked inviting and wish I had brought my swimsuit.
