This Naples hotel features direct access to the Florida Everglades. A continental breakfast is served every morning. Marco Beach is 18 mi from the property. Great bungalow hotel with good situation for airboat rides and getting to Naples or Everglades City. The pool was heated and the fitness room much better than I expected. Staff were very helpful and not only kept a garment that I had left behind but toiletries too! The food in the restaurant was tasty ( I had chicken Cesar salad) and breakfast was all you can eat continental with good coffee. Can recommend :-)
Located in Everglades City, Captain's Table Resort has air-conditioned rooms with free WiFi. Offering barbecue facilities, the property is located within a 19-minute walk of Gulf Coast Visitor Center.... Quaint, newly refurbished and clean rooms with welcoming, friendly owner. Refreshing swimming pool overlooking lake of fish and gators was unique; the night sky in this quiet town was amazing and the only restaurant open on a Monday night, the Island cafe, served delicious meals with friendly service. If you are looking for a peaceful, comfortable stay in a fascinating area of Florida then I would thoroughly recommend Captain Table's resort.
Located in Everglades City, River Wilderness Waterfront Villas offers an outdoor pool. This self-catering accommodations features free WiFi. The villa had a private screened in balcony overlooking the water-spectacular view! The place was big, with plenty of room for the family. There is a separate bedroom and bathroom for the parents, which was nice.
Not much in the city, but great place to relax and unwind. We are not party people, so loved this sleepy little community, right on the river, and 5 minutes from a beautiful baby. Watched the most gorgeous sunset on the bay. And enjoyed some really great food.
Everglade City was convenient to a lot of activity options. An hour in any direction and there was a beach, shopping or interesting museums. Locally, airboats, fishing, diners. We came the 2nd week in June and it was the beginning of the rainy season, upper 80's & 90's.
Other than nature/air boat tours, there's really not much going on here. Limited choices with hotels and restaurants. A mecca for bird-watching, fishing, etc. Or if you want a taste of Florida Everglades.
Hotel is little questionable from the outside, but just fine inside. Don't despair before you walk in ;-) ... Proximity to swamp boat tours and rides - totally worth it. Otherwise, quiet little community with couple of good restaurants. No beaches!!!
I enjoyed our airboat rides with Captain jacks airboat . We did both the grassy lands and the mangrove grove combo ticket , but I was not thrilled with the animal sanctuary. The animal sanctuary is totally outdated and they need to show some more love there.
Loved the old-fashioned and laid back feeling of the place, a feeling of a safe place to walk around, quietness. Ate dinners at Camellia and watched the sunsets. Walked around residential areas, just enjoyed the town. Also really liked the Havana Cafe.

Everything was bright and new. It was a motel from the fifties with rooms transformed into an upscale hotel of today. Loved that there was window on back wall also, giving it lots of light and open feeling. Ceramic floors, and plenty of space. Bed was comfy and bedding was sumptuous.

Nature was great. At the west side of everglades national park and at the start of 1000 islands. We were at the harbour. Nice pool in a great setting. Good restaurant. Good cook.
