I have been visiting Florence on my way to New York for...
I have been visiting Florence on my way to New York for about 10 years. What strikes me is the community’s commitment to the town. It seems to me that the residents are proud of their city and are dedicated and determined to make sure the town experiences growth. The stores, hotels and restaurants are upscale, with new businesses moving in. The people are friendly and the population diverse. Florence is truly a great small city with lots to do…. from outdoor activities to great downtown restaurants to an active nightlife.

Shady place.
Shady place. Room peeling drywall holes in walk,peeling bath tub paint, door latch broken, microwave had holes in it and not sealed emitting stuff,floors disgusting. Deceiving listing when i paid for a Deluxe Single Room! Faucet with not much water flowing out of it.toilet paper secured to wall by Tape .

Florence is a very nice area to stay.
Florence is a very nice area to stay. Lots of restaurants and southern hospitality! If you are a NASCAR race fan, Darlington raceway is close by and Florence offers all the amenities that you could ask for...give it a try!

Staff can be more courteous. In need of more carts. Upon arrival, guest are tired and shouldn't have to roam the facility looking for carts. Florence itself was very beautiful. The location of the hotel was in a convenient location. There were different places to eat just a few feet away. Traveling where I needed to go was much closer than I expected. Upon leaving was very convenient, I 95 N was just a few minutes away

It was a bit depressing with all the collapsing buildings of businesses that was once thriving. Hopefully, new businesses will emerge and offer better economics for those still living there and newcomers.

Stayed in the downtown area.
Stayed in the downtown area. There were several restaurants nearby. The area appears to be undergoing a revitalization. Several older buildings near my hotel were under renovation. Nicer than I expected.

I received an email saying that your hotel could not accomodate my reservation and I assumed I was cancelled while driving a moving truck trying to find a room last minute. I called the property to explain and they said there is nothing they can do call Booking.com so I am trying to get a refund 128 dollars that they charged me for a room they said they could not check me in to after I paid this is a scam and I want a refund

I liked absolutely nothing about this property. The facility was run down, the room was disgusting. So much so that I cancelled my stay and found another hotel. Worst place I have ever been to and would not recommend it to a single person.

We had a horrible night at a nearby hotel the night before our stay at Park Inn and the staff at Park Inn was so inviting and kind. They went out of their way to make our stay the best it could be.
