The inn is located near Yellowstone NP but just outside of Gardiner in such a peaceful and beautiful location and wildlife literally right at your door! Breakfast was delicious, views were stunning and the rooms were immaculate! The owners truly care for their guests and go the extra mile with service!

It was clean and had everything we needed. When our car battery died, Carson jumped started it and told us where to find a new one locally. The managers were friendly and helpful.

It was cozy & rustic. Very clean & excellent staff.
Gardiner is a small town and very walkable. Great after a long car ride sightseeing in the park. The couple of restaurants we tried were good. The Yellowstone Perk, great coffee and breakfast sandwiches. Service was warm and friendly. Dinner at Wonderland Cafe, twice. Good options excellent and service good. Definitely need a reservation. Watch out out for the wondering elk in town.

most of the restaurants shut down for off season. The food at the Cowboy's Grill was horrible and made my husband sick. Like they never cleaned their grill. Were very disappointed. The waitress was nice. The wildlife viewing in Gardiner was amazing. When we woke up in the morning there were elk all around our room and in the neighborhood. Loved the Yellowstone Hot Springs at Gardiner.

We visited the last week of their travel season in September so many restaurants and businesses had already closed, others were running low on items so menus were limited to a few items. Gardiner, however is a great area to see wildlife with easy entry into the northern part of Yellowstone National Park. I would certainly recommend, however might consider a different week if you’re looking to enjoy fully all they have to offer before the season ends.

Small town atmosphere with elk occasionally wandering the streets. Lots of restaurants but some were not great. The one that was recommended was packed on a Sunday night so we did not get to try it. Some shops to wander into. Fast way to get into Yellowstone and a more interesting drive than from West Yellowstone.

This was our second visit to Gardiner.
This was our second visit to Gardiner. We prefer Gardiner to West Yellowstone as a base to visit YNP because it is less crowded, less touristy, and overall more pleasant. It has all the basic amenities one might need during a visit to the park.

Entrance to Yellowstone. Wildlife. Easy walking around town.
Entrance to Yellowstone. Wildlife. Easy walking around town. Not many sit down restaurants that have full meals with vegetables, but that is just my opinion. Did have several food trucks and limited menu restaurants.

We had a lovely comfortable upstairs room at the Inn. We found out on arrival that free breakfast was included which was a lovely surprise. It was a limited choice but everything tasted really good, especially the homemade cakes. A good start to our days.
It was a great location close to the park entrance and perfect for exploring the north & northeast parts of the park.
There was also a beautiful Mountain View opposite the inn.
The hotel told us about the flood and the park entrance being closed, which I think is very decent. We didn't cancel and had a great time. Our room was large, breakfast very good, there is a games room with board and video games, table tennis and a soccer table,a guest laundry and a gym, that was more than we had expected.
Good location for exploring the north parts of Yellowstone National Park. Basic breakfast supplied. Nice staff. Comfortable bed. Decent fridge and microwave in the room. Excellent characterful restaurant The Corrall oppsite the Super 8 plus a supermarket opposite so very well situated for our needs.
The Roosevelt Hotel was squeaky clean. Our bathtub was so shiny I thought it was brand new. I have never seen a hotel bathroom as clean. The staff was super friendly and helpful, both Jay and Sam. The linens were top quality and the bed was incredibly comfortable.
