The views were beautiful! Our room was great. We met many friendly people there. Mostly its location just outside Yellowstone NP made this a wonderful place for our vacation. There were tons of shops and restaurants but we didn't have time to stay because we were travelling to Yellowstone.
We loved the location, the scenery, and the size of the cabin. Having 5 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms was wonderful! The light bulbs in the majority of the home could be a little brighter as it was difficult to read in the late afternoon and evening. Adding TV's in at least two of the bedrooms would be a big plus so we all didn't have to watch the same TV program. The picture of the home on the website showed a telescope on the front deck, but it wasn't there when we arrived. I could have used the telescope to see the beautiful stars at night, and the wildlife on the ridge of the mountains.
I loved the hot springs. Also close to Yellowstone Park, which I explored some. I've been to the area many times and only live a couple of hours away in Idaho, but occasionally it is nice to stay there.
Our visit was just overnight, but the time we had there and the slow drive through town made us wish we had a least an extra few days to stay in town. Plenty of outdoor activities and a charming town to explore as well.
It is a nice city but if the purpose is to see different attractions of Yellow Stone National Park, I would choose a location on the western side. Many attractions were much further away from Gardiner than from West Yellowstone.
Lovely hotel with rustic/western decoration. The hotel was spotlessly clean, as was our room. The bed was very comfortable, with good sheets; the bathroom had good water pressure and nice towels and plenty of them. The bathroom was also spotlessly clean. The hotel was quiet - no road noise, no hallway noise. We had an excellent sleep both nights. Internet was reliable. Breakfast had a nice variety of hot and cold foods, and was nicely distributed across the roomy breakfast area so no problem with bottlenecks while getting breakfast. We were very happy with our stay. It was a bit pricey, due to high tourist season, I suppose, but there was nothing negative about our stay and we would stay here again.
Sleeping in Dreamcatcher Tipi Hotel was one of our greatest experiences in Yellowstone. Staff is friendly, location is absolutely beautiful (there are live animals walking between the tipis, which was also really nice to see). We stayed here during the end of September, so nigh was quite cold, but in the tipi there was two air heaters, which helped us to get more warm. Shared bathrooms were also nice (clean and warm). And night fire with complimentary beer was also very pleasant, as well as the watching bright sky during the night.
I left my Apple Watch in the room and I called later that day and they said the house keeper turned it into the fest. I was well into Yellowstone when I realized but was ending my trip at the same hotel. The desk agent said enjoy your trip and pick the Watch up on your return. Amazing. Property is perfect start for a Yellowstone grand Teton loop. Staff went out of there way to make you stay enjoyable. Highly recommend
Yellowstone Riverside Cottages were above our expectations. If you are planning a few days or week exploring Yellowstone National Park this is a great spot to base yourself. The cottages are very well equipped and right in the centre of town. We would highly recommend. There is a handy Market shop within an easy walk of the cottages.
Gardiner
Great location with really nice views in all directions. Fast Internet by SpaceX. Horses were friendly nearby. Bear spray right by the door - luckily didn't need it :). Dirt road to the property is was fairly well maintained but I probably would be little concerned with lower clearance vehicle.
Gardiner
Staff was friendly and made us feel welcome. Loved the suite that we booked which allowed us to cook (there's a supermarket nearby as well!) and we could adjust the temperature in the room to keep us nice and warm. We had a great stay and would come back here to stay again!
The hotel was nice and provided a choice with breakfast sack lunch during this pandemic. Offered coffee, tea, and oatmeal in the lobby area.
The hotel was good and clean. The location was perfect to visit the park. Enough parking. Staff was nice.
