We went to Chicago and stayed overnight, looking for an affordable option with good reviews, I must say that everything is really at a very good level. The room is clean and cozy, a large royal bed with a comfortable mattress, lots of towels and shower accessories, everything is clean and fresh. The staff were very kind and helpful! I never had any issues with my stay at Days Inn Grayson other than the fact that they accuse me of destroying a white comforter with pizza sauce that I did not destroy. There was no pizza in that room there was nothing with orange sauce in that room to have gotten on a comforter They charged me $60 for the comforter after I left. I called to inquire an Angela the manager was very rude and would not allow me to speak to anyone else about the situation. I asked for the owner's contact info and she said NO! I asked why and she said it's because they are Indian. I have no idea why I was not allowed to speak to someone else.

I was here at the end of October, off season. It was very quiet, not many people around. There are a few trails that start from the lodge, and the autumn atmosphere was really beautiful. The room had a little balcony facing the forest, a beautiful sight. The bathroom was clean and had a great shower. I liked that there was no carpet in the room. That is a big plus in my book.
