There was absolutely nothing to scoff at. Staff was friendly and professional, in-house breakfast by FoodCraft was phenomenal, the room was in excellent condition, and, most importantly, immediate access to the beach was a joy. If I ever come to Gulf Shores again, I will be staying here!

We had a great trip, we went to several local restaurants and had awesome fresh seafood. We were able to take the children to the beach and they had a wonderful time. We took an extra day to go to Battleship Park in Mobile. It is a great experience.

It was my first time in Gulf Shores.
It was my first time in Gulf Shores. It's hot and super humid. Super soft brought in beach sand, so not a ton of seashells. Tons of jellyfish, like everywhere, getting stung constantly (just rub sand on it). Every food place we ate at was fantastic which is a nice change for tourist traps with expensive food. The softball nationals were not terribly organized, on the contrary it was a soup sandwich.
It was hard to tell who's a local and who's not so I can't say if they're friendly. I felt like everyone outside the waiters/waitresses were rude. Unlike in New Orleans (we went after leaving) where everyone was very friendly.
Traffic was as expected, gridlocked between the beach and the outlet mall in Foley. I still prefer Myrtle Beach which is similar in cost and probably wouldn't come back here, at least not mid July.
It was very clean which was nice

Gulf Shores has really grown since I was last there 20 plus years ago. It has grown from a sleepy little beach community to a very upgraded and developed area.
The traffic was a little congested but all in all, it was super relaxing.

The beach is wonderful!! Clean!
The beach is wonderful!! Clean! Lots to do there and places to eat! Wish we had gone to the Hangout earlier in our stay to experience it. We went to a concert at the Wharf Amphitheater, very nice! Had construction on the main highway, slowed traffic during the day.

We loved the gulfshores.
We loved the gulfshores. The only problem with this unit is that it only has one parking spot. Thank God for the handicap parking. Which we didn't notice until the rain had stopped. It was a much needed girls trip and we made the most of it. Thank you.
