A very beautiful place to visit especially at this time of year when the leaves are changing and as the sun sets on the beautiful lake and river. Looking for an amazing place to eat although a bit on the pricy side is the Top of the River restaurant. The food is amazing and plenty to share. Another great eating place is inside the Wyndham and that is the Aqua Restaurant plenty of food and very tasty. Lots to do or just take a break and rest. A person can find plenty of places to shop or they can just relax and watch the day drift by.
The view of the bridge and boats on the water was so relaxing. There were several eating places, easy to get to , and could order and pick up. Getting around was a little hard at first due to one way streets, but got easier. There were small shops along the streets, wish I could have gone through each one.
Loved that it had a lot of places to eat, which helped with no waiting. We ate at the Waffle House and we were the only ones there, which made it super nice. The place was clean and staff friendly. The Lake was absolutely beautiful to look at and the ball park we attended was exceptional. Would love to go back sometime.
The breakfast is great. Just love the lake view. Nice pool area. Access to a table & grill right outside of room on ground floor.. I even discovered a walking trail that I was not aware of previously. The hotel should consider discount or competitive rates at times. $150 per night is steep.
Guntersville is great for a weekend getaway, we ate at Wintzells and at Top o The River. Took a trip to Cathedral Caverns which was neat, call ahead however, we waited 2 hrs before our tour due to Covid 19
Downtown Guntersville is cozy, quaint, and beautiful. Surrounded by lakes, downtown has some affordable shops and restaurants. Pretty town. Everyone we came in contact with was super nice and hospitable.
This hotel was a good bargain. Bed was comfortable, room was spacious. Pool was not open and there is not an elevator. We were there to sightsee, so this hotel served our purpose, a clean, decent place to shower and sleep.
