Hermann is a delightful town. The shops are fun and unique.
Hermann is a delightful town. The shops are fun and unique. The music at the local bars and wineries is upbeat and adds to the lively experience. The Hermann 1837 was hopping! The food was great, as well. Gotta love Sharp's Tavern! Expresso Laine was quaint and entertaining while we enjoyed a great cup of coffee and a yummy pastry one morning. Very walkable or take the trolleys or vans to the surrounding wineries and distilleries. Lovely time!

We did not get to enjoy a lot of the shops in Hermann, as we were there for a wedding and arrived later than expected. What we did see was wonderful and there were lots of options of fun things to do.

We were there for a wedding
The venue for wedding service was at "The Barn" at one of the distilleries. ( Hermann has always been known for its wineries, but distilleries?) The reception was at Hermannhof Festhalle. The food was quite good.
We left Sunday after breakfast at our hotel

It is a beautiful little town.
It is a beautiful little town. Everybody we met was so helpful and nice. Our trolly experience with Patrick was outstanding! The Crown Suites hotel was excellent and the staff went over and above our experience in every way. Lisa and Steve were outstanding hosts!

Enjoyed front porch coffee, great views; enjoyed lovely coffee shops, all the courtyards making town so cozy. We're not wine folks but trolley rides to and from and carriage ride with 2 great horses showing historical areas plus great food both places where we chose to eat, German food and tin mill.

Plan carefully, if you go during the week, many locations and activities may not be open. If you want no crowds and quiet pace, avoid weekends in season. Study the area beforehand if your looking to explore the "libation" opportunities, they are endless.

Great location only a few steps from the Katy trail and only a mile or two to Hermann. Nice firepit area and it was a quiet/peaceful location. Inside is clean, cute & cozy. Everything you need for a stay is provided and the owner is responsive and friendly. Will definitely return!

Charming hotel. My room was called the Jailhouse. Separate building from the main building. Room was large and comfortable.
