Hohenwald is the home of the largest elephant sanctuary in...
Hohenwald is the home of the largest elephant sanctuary in U.S. (There are only two in U.S.) You cannot go to the actual sanctuary, but, the visitor's center is wonderful.
A quaint town with some nice restaurants.

This is a very small but friendly town 1 1/2 hours south of...
This is a very small but friendly town 1 1/2 hours south of Nashville. Lots of history and nature close by. There is also an Elephant sanctuary here but not open to the public. The Elephant Discovery Center is in the main square and open to the public.
