This is a beautiful cabin located in the heart of west central Wisconsin's lake country. The Ice Age Trail is nearby and easily accessible. The Holcombe Flowage, a large reservoir off the Chippewa river, is very close and also easily accessible. We had excellent meals at Ted's Timber Lodge and the Big Minnow Pub in Holcombe. Not so good at the East Bay Lodge. The grocery store (KJ's Market) in Cornell (10 to 15 Minutes away) was convenient. Also had great pizza and beer at the Moon Ridge Brewery in Cornell. During our stay we soent one night away at the Great Northern Railways Bed and Breakfast train in Trego WI, a little over an hour north. Its a bit pricy but, we had a great time. They have additional options other than the B&B and is worth checking out.
