Located in Hunter, 3.1 mi from New York Zipline Adventures LLC, Hunter Mountain Resort features views of the mountain. It was clean and the owners were very friendly. The property was beautiful and remote, the stream running behind our room was lovely. The room was very large with an adjoining kitchenette and an area to sit down and eat.
Two Bedroom Apartment at Hunter Mountain is located on Hunter Mountain and features a private entrance in a two-family house. Free WiFi access is available in this holiday home. The apartment has everything that my family needs. It was located very close the Hunter mountain resort.
Modern Hunter Mountain Home 1 Mile from Resort! is located in Hunter, 1.7 mi from New York Zipline Adventures LLC and 2 mi from Hunter Mountain, in an area where skiing can be enjoyed. Hello everyone, I want to share my impressions of staying at Modern Hunter Mountain Home, the very first thing I want to say is a huge thank you to the owner of our house and Louis, who helped us in all matters, the house in which we spent four unforgettable days, it's just fantastic, complete silence and comfort constantly surrounded us , we have a large family of 5 people, all comfortably accommodated, two good bedrooms, living room, hall, kitchen with all accessories, excellent bathroom. The coolest place is the barbecue area. I recommend it to everyone 100%. All our questions were answered in 2-3 minutes, and we are grateful to our dear Louis, thank you again and all the best. We loved this house, it really became our favorite home. We will always return only to this house!!!
Ski instructors there are so friendly and are amazing teachers! Cant believe how fast we all picked up the sport! My 15 year old was at the top of the mountain after 3 days of instruction! We took advantage of the 3 day lift tickets, rentals and instructions our first time and it was an amazing value!
My review is for the ski mountain: It was exceptionally organized despite the very busy holiday weekend. Person standing at the front door directing patrons were to go. Another 2 people were inside directing traffic. The ski school had a person at the door to greet incomers to make sure that all paperwork was filled out before they proceeded to the counter. Lifts had personel directing and mainaiting order. It was busy but not chaotic as I've seen at other mountains. Wait time for lifts were not terrible because of the organization. People at the food court were very pleasant.
Clean. Comfy and cozy but too old school. No refrigerator no wifi. B&b is quite good. Because of old properties I feel I had overpaid. Still good location next to Hunter Mountain resort. If you stay with a group of ppl, I would recommend air b&b so you can cook or at least you can heat up your instant foods.
Hunter Inn was super homely, and clean! And was perfect for our 3 day skiing trip at Hunter Mountain(which is really close, 1.5km away), and can see from the inn. The breakfast included is a great standard breakfast with a good amount of options to choose from (& with a great amount of fruit options- which generally seems to lack in America...) They have tea/coffee available in the foyer but no kettle in your room, but a small 50m walk doesn’t hurt at all. And the rooms are a decent size(if traveling with 4 can fit relatively well, in comparison to standard hotel rooms).
We enjoyed shopping the local shops. The restaurants served very good food. Van Winkles at Hunter Mountain serves a great meal. Lots to do there, skiing, zipline, snow tube area, trails to xcountry or snowshoe.
This place is very close to hunter mountain. We stayed at the end of December and our room was nice and warm. The heating unit was easy to adjust once we got too warm. The room is the bare basics as I expected: Three towels, hand soap, toilet paper and an old tv on a dresser. As other reviews warned, the water smelled of sulfur. The bed wasn’t as bad as I had expected. The walls are very this- but fortunately all rooms around us were quiet on the night of our stay. We would stay here again for a night after a day on the mountain. We ate at hunter mountain brewery and I would highly recommend this restaurant.
