The wonderful staff, the spacious room and the location! The hotel staff were the nicest we’ve met and especially accommodating going the extra mile to ensure we were hydrated in the extreme heat, even providing us a gallon bottle of water at no extra cost as we couldn’t make it to the supermarket in time. The breakfast options were vast and it was nice to be greeted by warm welcomes from management in the morning. The room was huge, the bed super comfortable and the desk space was just what I needed to get some work done. The bathroom was decent, very clean and the shower was very powerful. The location was perfect - we were visiting for the Coachella music festival and we were so close to where the Lyft cost was literally $13 to reach there! Without a doubt we will be coming back here next year and would highly recommend this hotel to anyone visiting and looking for a hotel within a modest budget.

We go to Indio for the Indian Wells Tennis Tournament. So if you love tennis it's a fantastic vacation! The weather is generally beautiful and there are lots of restaurants, hiking trails and sunshine to enjoy.

The house was wonderful - it was extremely well appointed...

The house was wonderful - it was extremely well appointed with cutlery & crockery for inside and outside eating. There were lots of pots, pans, utensils, glasses, etc for serving big crowds. The linen was of high standard and beds very comfortable. I would bring your own corkscrew/waiters's friend - the one provided was useless and the electric one questionable. For non-American visitors - most local wine is corked and not screw top. The pool & hot tub were perfect - heating worth the cost! We had to get someone out to explain how to heat pool & spa as it seems they can't run concurrently. No written instructions...perhaps something to provide next time? I cannot praise the Vacasa Team enough for their impressive service and assistance - we had a few small problems and someone was on site within 4 hours - very impressive. We would come again. Thank you! PS Pre-order your sourdough bread from Joe The Sourdough Man - fabulous home made bread, delivered to your door - joe@joessourdough.com. He's a star!

Indio had everything we could wish for, from shops and...

Indio had everything we could wish for, from shops and restaurants to sporting facilities but particularly, a wonderful climate, with very little rain and lovely warm sunny days - we are retiring and intend spending as much time there as possible.

Indio is close to several other desert cities.

Indio is close to several other desert cities. It is somewhat poorer but has some fine places. One can stay there and save some money while being rfelatively close to the other towns in the area. IOn frecent years Indio has been improving. But the Super 8 seems to be deteriorating.

Although there is not much to do in Indio itself it is not...

Although there is not much to do in Indio itself it is not too far a drive from lots of places to see in Southern California. About an hour drive to Joshua Tree National Park, 30 minutes away from Palm Springs, and about 2-2.5 hours north of Anaheim/Los Angeles. My biggest complaint about the area would be food as 85% of the restaurants are all tacos of some sort or national fast food chain like McDonalds. You would have to drive to Palm Springs to get more of a variety like Italian cuisine. If you are looking for close by shopping that is a 10-15 minute drive to La Quinta, which is a beautiful area too. There are a few casinos too in Palm Desert and Palm Springs too if you don't mind traveling.

Nice area, clean city.

Nice area, clean city. Small local town, I went to Palm Springs most days of my trip which was less than a 20 minute commute, but the restaurants around Indio were good...especially Sloans. If you are coming for Coachella, this is a great location since it is so close by. Scenic views with the mountains was a bonus, sunsets were so pretty with the mountains. There are casinos nearby too for night time fun.
