Didn’t have the breakfast unfortunately. Loved the Bistro, although it wished it was open for more hours. The staff was great - Tia at the front desk and Latisha at housekeeping were absolutely wonderful.

The location was perfect. Breakfast was great. I’m not a breakfast person and I have yogurt and they had yogurt and fresh fruit. Most of our activities were in Swansea and so we had no trouble getting there from the car

We are natives of Keene and travel home every year, been doing that for 21 years now. Moved to Florida when we retired, didn't like the winters or the cold. We love our quaint small city. We love eating at "Tempesta's" on Winchester St. and also going to Lee & Mt. Fugi for the BEST, FRESH Chinese food & the best "Mai Tai's" in Marlboro, N.H is just a skip away from Keene. We enjoy going to Robin Hood Park along with Wheelock Park. Everything is pretty much centered around Keene and is easy getting around. We also enjoyed going to Kimballs in Jaffrey, N.H. Having excellent Seafood & Ice Cream.

I hadn't been in Keene, NH in 25 years but returned for my fiftieth high school reunion (go blackbirds) and enjoyed seeing the beautiful historic homes and new businesses (many convenient stores and services) that were added over the years. We also visited the Frost Free Library in Marlborough, my former home in Chesham (1976) and beautiful Silver Lake. Dined at Papagallo's restaurant in Swanzey, NH for a delicious seafood dinner. Love their shrimp scampi ordered specially with angel hair pasta. Highly recommend this restaurant for tasty food, excellent service and comfortable seating. Enjoyed a yummy Passion Fruit Margarita at Margarita's Mexican Restaurant Downtown. Friendly service. Also tried the Vermonter sandwich at D'Angelo's. Love D'Angelo's sandwiches - so fresh and delicious. Also visited Stuart and John's Sugarhouse in Westmoreland for Sunday Breakfast and it was a wonderful experience. Enormous, well-cooked home-style meals (that I took leftovers home to enjoy later). I recommend the Lumberjack breakfast with the homemade corned beef hash and perfectly poached eggs. I purchased some of their tasty maple syrup to take back home to share with friends.

Room was clean, the staff was very friendly and the breakfast very good. The one shortcoming was there was no mention that the hotel was being renovated. Noise was not really an issue but the hallways was very dusty so not a place for someone who is allergic

I love Keene, my daughter went to college there. There are many shops and restaurants and places to hike and explore. It is great year around. I would recommend. Sadly this time I was in town for a funeral, but even that was close by. Cheers,

We came in for Keene State College open house, and also to visit our eldest child who attends Keene State. I can't say enough about Keene, campus on the Main Street, walking distance to exceptional town center full of restaurants, breweries, quaint shops, just beautiful. On the back end of the campus also hosts every chain you can imagine, from Walmart to McDonalds and every chain store in between for ease for students to walk to and fill up on necessities. The downtown is absolutely beautiful, even if you don't stay it's worth the day trip to explore.
