I personally have been visiting Keystone since the year they opened 40 + years ago. Keystone is a wonderful ski resort and several nice areas for first time skiers where they won't get run over by other more experienced skiers.
Keystone was PACKED! A couple of ski mountain members were nice, but quite a few of them were just plain RUDE! If you like a ton of tourism you found it. Keystone itself was just beautiful and easy to get to, probably why a lot of tourist go there.
Great for skiers and athletic group. Good atmosphere and beautiful views. Lots closed due to pandemic. We had a wonderful pizza from Pizza 101. Shops in River Run convenient for quick items. KidsI loved ice skating and playing in playground areas. Close to Breckenridge as well for more options.
I went to Keystone for the beauty and the view. I enjoyed being able to walk to restaurants in the center of Keystone. It was the off-season which allowed for a wonderfully relaxing and quiet atmosphere. Would definitely return to the area.
Keystone is an easy drive from Denver, and close to lots of things to do. Keystone has a nice big grocery store, movie theater and lots of places to eat. 30 minutes to Breckenridge. Easy access to Lake Dillon. Beautiful views.
At the time I booked this reservation I had spent a week traveling in Buena Vista, Leadville and Crested Butte. Traveling to Keystone I experienced Breckenridge, Frisco and Dillon. To me all these Mountain towns were busy with traffic shut off for restaurants and parking was difficult to find. Keystone was easy. We did a happy hour at Pug Ryans Brewery in Dillon then went to 3 Seasons. For dinner we chose the Mexican restaurant next to the 3 Seasons. In minutes we were seated, Saturday evening. (All employees were masked) Checked in the next door liquor mart and give Kudos to Paul and Tom. We went to Keystone Village for breakfast at THE CREPE STAND. We were told there was a 30 min wait, but the results were worth the time. Go early. $6 each for the BOMB. Very tasty. This was a Sunday morning and it was very chill in the hood. The Outlet mall is 20min away, so we did a little shopping and hit the road.
