Three stories and no elevator so if elderly or have small children or have lots of luggage, be sure to request ground floor when you make reservations and make them early.

Keystone is a breathtaking area.
Keystone is a breathtaking area. There is so much to do and it is very family friendly. Pets too are welcome in many areas.
The town has many shops and eateries. It also has an adventure park and a train depot that takes visitors on a scenic ride of the Black Hills.
All within an hour or less drive are Mount Rushmore, Crazy Horse and the Wild Life Loop. Several state parks with large lakes and several great fishing spots.

Our stay at Rushmore Express & Suites in Keystone, SD was wonderful. We had a family suite and it was the perfect size for 2 grandparents with 2 grandteens. The room was spacious, clean, comfortable and absolutely beautiful. The customer service was excellent.
Keystone is the perfect "home base" to stay while seeing all the sights in the surrounding area. The small town is easy to get around, has a lot of shopping and activities, and felt safe for our family. We loved our stay in Keystone!

I'm only sorry we couldn't stay longer. Everything is beautiful here. Accomodations are 10 star. Beautiful restaurant on site with an amazing menu. Great clean pool. Kind and professional people. Will definitely be back. Keystone so close and other cute towns to explore.

Richly historical area—would have enjoyed more time to explore. Pretty easy to get around Keystone. We found Shirley’s Cafe—fabulous little place for breakfast—they gave us a sample of their smoked brisket—Wow! Wish we could’ve stayed till the evening so to try that! Highly recommend! Check it out!

It sure would be nice if there were more choices of dining...
It sure would be nice if there were more choices of dining in the area. Mainly, there is pizza. I had gone to the DQ, but waited about 5 minutes before walking out as no one came to the front counter to wait on me (there was only 1 couple eating when I was there and no one waiting).

This hotel is conveniently located near Mount Rushmore and the Crazy Horse Memorial, in Keystone, which is a very small town that is a little bit touristy. The hotel is older and its age shows—it could really use a facelift and a deep clean sometime soon—but for the price it’s quite reasonable. There was no complimentary breakfast offered, unfortunately, but the WiFi was decently fast and the bed was quite comfortable.

The breakfast was more than expected. There was lots more variety than just a regular continental breakfast.
The location was wonderful. Just 10 minutes from Mount Rushmore and outside the town of Keystone, tucked away in the woods. There were deer on the property in the morning. In room fridge and microwave. Guest laundry facilities. Pool and hot tub.
