It was a few days get away with fammily .
It was a few days get away with fammily .City is nice and feel safe with plany to do, even found local salsa event that i want too. We travel by train from White Plains NY, rented a car there whitch we used for local comute.

I love the amish lifestyle.
I love the amish lifestyle. The surrounding farmland are beautiful. Central Lancaster
was a little rundown, and hard to find things. Other than that we loved our hotel,
and the surrounding areas were wonderful.

We were in town for a showing at the Sight and Sound theater...
We were in town for a showing at the Sight and Sound theater. It was great! There were very charming areas to explore not far from the theater (Amish experiences) around the town with shopping and restaurants. We also went to Round One; an all in one bowling alley/arcade/billiards that was much fun for my daughter. It was about a 15 minute drive from the hotel.

Been coming to Lancaster for over 45 years, and always seem to have some great experience. The Amish make their food and service way above most normal destinations. Our Christmas present to each other last year was this trip to come see Joshua at Sight & Sound. Always a great show there. Ate at the Shady Maple; Katie's Kitchen and Agape. All were outstanding. Shady Maple for Senior Citizens costs way more than what we can eat. It is hard to eat there for us on a fixed income, but it was part of our Christmas gift to each other.

Lancaster is a beautiful area. We went to see the Sight & Sound show Joshua -- as usual, they did a terrific job. We ate at two local places -- Katie's Kitchen near the theater and Silver Spring Family Restaurant in Lancaster -- both were wonderful - excellent food and service!

This hotel was a delight and we enjoyed the 'arts' theme that runs throughout the hotel. The room was compact but well planned. The wardrobe revealed not only a coffee tray but fluffy bathrobes. And after going out for dinner at a lovely nearby restaurant, Lombardo's, we returned to find a rose and chocolates on the bed. What a lovely surprise. We were on a trip to the US which involved staying at 13 hotels over three weeks and this was one of my favourites. Another bonus was the car park was covered and adjacent.

The place was clean and the staff were very friendly. The rooms were so spacious. We had complimentary water on check in. 24hr coffee, tea and hot chocolate. Laundry was clean and machines looked new. The breakfast had a lot of variety. It was mostly pre packaged but was very generous. Free parking in large car park. Next door to Outlets and lots of good choices. Foyer has fire place and decorated so nicely with Christmas decorations.

The Cartoon Network theme was fun to experience with two pools and a-splash pad. Plus, fire pits at night. We got the powerpuff girls room with the bunkbeds for the kids, which was pretty neat. Also, Dutch Wonderland is literally next door to the hotel and just a two minute walk. The hotels location is around a lot of restaurants.

Kim & Jason were fantastic hosts, the Lancaster B&B is really a home away from home, the room was thoughtfully decorated, and super comfortable, I really appreciated the booklet on the history of the Amish. Finally, breakfast was excellent (and cookies!). Thank you so much !
