Authentic log Cabin mins from chatts best sites in Chattanooga offers accommodations with free WiFi, 2.7 mi from Lookout Mountain, 6.2 mi from Tennessee Aquarium and 6.8 mi from Chattanooga Zoo. I would stay here over a hotel any time. It has full kitchen and.washer and dryer.
The Econo Lodge Lookout Mountain is located minutes from Ruby Falls, an underground waterfall located within a Lookout Mountain cave, and Rock City, featuring massive ancient rock formations and a... Very reasonable price and a nice place to stay. It was just a one night layover while traveling and worked perfectly.
Howard Johnson by Wyndham Chattanooga Lookout Mountain is located in Chattanooga. The property is set 1.7 mi from Lookout Mountain and 3.7 mi from Tennessee Aquarium. They let us have a king bed instead of 2 doubles because our kids decided to stay home. It was very clean. A/C was super cold and the couch was very comfortable. Really nice for the price.
Views were many and vast. The local history is fun and fascinating. From the civil war, the liquor running days, Chicago mob influence, and the present day Schools and hang gliding, you can find a topic to delve into or you can hike forever.
The Garden Walk Inn is so quaint and serene that I never want to leave! I have been there twice, in two different rooms, and loved it each time. The first time, breakfast was served on the outside deck, and the second time, we ate in the dining room inside. Two different atmospheres, and I can't decide which I liked better! Both were wonderful and the food and service were great. The rooms are clean, the beds comfortable, and the only thing that wasn't provided was a microwave. The only other thing I could suggest would be two choices of entrees at breakfast. There are places to sit outside, a fire-pit, fountains, a swimming pool, parking, Wi-Fi, cable TV, small refrigerator in room, complimentary coffee and water in the rooms, and each is decorated with a different theme. Sweet! I never want to stay anywhere else in the area now.
Although much of the activities are very commercial, Lookout Mountain has a wonderful view of Chattanooga. We visited Point Park, as part of the national park site, for the historical significance of the Civil War battle. Wonderful signs to a variety of attractions otherwise. Highly recommend the “Restaurant on the Corner” for good food, good service and wonderful atmosphere. Homemade fries and chips! Especially good corn bread!! A little pricey.
We had a great time riding the incline and browsing, had a great Latte and shrimp tacos; Cafe on the corner and Mojo Burrito as well as touring Rock City! Beautiful, beautiful beautiful and kind people!
So beautiful there! Ruby Falls and rock city was amazing! We can't wait to go back, the view alone is worth the drive from Ohio. We went in late March and are now hoping to see it when the leaves change in the fall.
This is a must see and I woukd enjoy going back. They seemed to be adding lights for the holidays and it must be even more spectacular. You walk at your own pace and at the top take a break and grab a bite to eat
