We stayed for one night and had a good experience. The hotel is in a convenient location, the room was clean and spacious, and the staff were very friendly. While the bathroom could use some updating, everything was functional and tidy. Breakfast was basic (as is typical in the US), but fine for a short stay. Overall, a pleasant and comfortable night.

We stayed 2 nights at Ormond Manor. Hugue room, well equipped, great bathroom. Quiet. We really felt like staying at a family manor house. Location was great on the road of the plantations. It was close to the airport too (we stayed there on the last 2 days of our trip). Employees were helpful and professional. Breakfast was good. Diner was really good. Portions are huge. We recommend the place.

Quiet, Clean, Comfortable. The staff was friendly and helpful. Great Fitness center, free parking, good breakfast and TV selection as well. Good location right off the highway and close enough to food, stores, etc. Was there a night before a cruise, and definitely was a better value to stay here about 25-30 minutes away from the port rather than staying in downtown New Orleans which would most likely require paid parking, no free breakfast, higher rate, etc. LaPlace had everything we needed for a 15-hour overnight stay.

Reached with my wife and two kids late night.

Reached with my wife and two kids late night. I was given a room by the reception lady, far far away from the main reception. Had to walk with all the luggage. There was no lift and no one to help. Had to use stairs and carry all the bags. 2) Reached the room, there was no WIFI! Could not call the hotel reception from the room didn't see an option so had to walk all the way back only to find no one there. Waited 5min and another person had come there. Asked him that wifi password is not working and was told that yes it's down. I asked when it will be restored and was informed it's on and off!!! Basically the first hotel I stayed with NO WIFI!!! Couldn't the lady who handed me the keys and the wifi password have said this to me when checking in?? 3) Next day went down to check on the breakfast. And it was NOT there! No food. I asked the reception, a different lady this time, she said the storage facility they had was hit by hurricane and will get restored this week!!! Really! Couldnt they make alternate arrangements??? My kids were hungry and we had to vacate the room just so that we could go and get breakfast as there was nothing nearby. 4) The hotel carpets, the room bedsheets, the stairs seemed to not have cleaned for days. The pool was dirty with black water!! Why was it advertised that Free wifi free breakfast when I couldn't get any of the service for paying the money I spent !!!! Need a refund!!!!!

It was close to the location I needed to be, and there were few options in the area. Despite the low rating, I took a gamble and booked this hotel. It was better than expected. Rooms are being refurbished. The corridors are worn out and dirty, but it seems these are getting refurbished too. Breakfast was standard. Not a bad place.

booked a king room bathroom didn't work ..They moved u for the night said they would have it fixed by the next day ..That didn't happen..Then got a text saying it would be ready on Thursday that didn't happen..Then left a day early to swap hotels for the next 4 weeks..
