Located by the shops and restaurants along Mendocino’s main street, this pet-friendly hotel is 1 mile from Agate Beach. It features on-site dining and a spa with massage services. Beautiful historic building right in the centre of a charming town with views to die for and fabulous beaches and dunes, all just outside the door. The town had endless interesting gig quality shops, cosy cafe’s spas and museums. Loved it all!
Located in Mendocino in the California region, Mendocino Grove has accommodations with free WiFi and free private parking. The luxury tent has a grill. Even though it’s outside, you felt like you were in a giant living room! The outdoor space and tents were so comfortable.
Headlands Cove offers accommodations in Mendocino. Fort Bragg is 9 miles away. The accommodation features a satellite TV. There is also a kitchen, equipped with a dishwasher and oven. The house was very clean and comfortable. The view is excellent! The location is very convenient — close to headlands state park, close to shopping and easy access from highway 1. Our group was very happy with our choice.
Located 1 mile from Mendocino Village, this inn features redwood design throughout. It serves a cooked-to-order breakfast. All rooms feature free Wi-Fi. Amazing property with an amazing stuff. The only problem we had was that we had to leave after 3 wonderful nights. We loved everything at Brewery Gulch Inn. The stuff was very friendly and forthcoming. We arrived around 7:30 pm and they were expecting us with food prepared and left in the room as well as a bottle of wine. Because I told them we were celebrating my wife's birthday that week, they also let a bottle of champagne in one of the rooms. The food was fantastic. Each morning they had the standard breakfast + something special. Every evening they had a complimentary snack and wine tasting. They call it a snack but it was more or less a dinner, very good and well prepared. The rooms were very comfortable and clean, offering everything you may need. The main lobby had a library of books and almost 400 DVDs with various movies (both very new and older). They also had various board games, a big fireplace and a very beautiful terrace. We spent every night there watching the sunset over the Smugglers Cove, enjoying a glass of wine and playing some games. The grounds of the Inn are very nice, with several trails, ponds with waterlilies and many beautiful birds. The Inn is also located very close to Mendocino and many of the attractions of the area. We spent 3 nights at the Inn, but we would love to spend 3 more. We did not get the chance to see everything, and we will definitely like to come back. Our trip was longer and we had several more stops in Eureka and Sacramento, but in the end, both my wife and my kids voted Brewery Gulch Inn the place where we should have stayed longer and where they would love to return.
This historic bed and breakfast is in Mendocino, California, with views of the Pacific Ocean. The charming inn offers a full daily breakfast and unique guest rooms. This was the second time we have stayed at the McCallum House. We love the location and the house itself. The room is comfortable and romantic with old-fashioned charm. Everything was spotlessly clean. This is a great place for couples, honeymoons, romantic getaways. For breakfast they accommodated us in our vegan requirements. We like it so much, we will return.
Located in Mendocino, near Mendocino Art Center, Temple of Kwan Tai and Highlight Gallery, Seagull Inn Bed & Breakfast features free WiFi, and guests can enjoy a garden. Superb breakfasts, delivered to our room, a famous crust less quiche with fresh fruit and excellent coffee comes to mind. Our room was cozy and very quiet, surrounded by beautiful gardens with quirky rustic embellishments. We will return!
Mendocino is a charming and scenic getaway on the coast. Catch your breath and relax. Time travel by surrounding yourself with rustic Victorian buildings of yesteryear. Head to nearby beaches and lighthouses. Window shop local goods in town or take a hike in nearby parks. If you're lucky enough, you might see whale migrating by. On a clear night, look up to gaze at the star studded sky.
Great place to hike, and enjoy the scenery. We were disappointed that several businesses, including the Mendocino Art Center, were closed for weeks or months for the winter. (Loved the Prentice Art Gallery.)
Plenty to do for a 2-3 night stay, views, walks, wine tasting, restaurants, cafes and shops. We ate at Cafe Beaujolais, Patterson’s Pub, Garden Bakery, Frankie’s. Enjoyed the galleries showcasing local artists.
Strenuous curvy roads made you feel like you deserved the lovely town which awaited you. We were there Thanksgiving weekend, and walked in the blustery weather to the gorgeous Mendocino headlands, which glowed with rosy succulents over the cliffs.
Mendocino is a land mark protected gem- the entire town! I have been here many times since my first visit in 1970 and and there is not one new or ugly building in sight. "Progress" has mercifully passed this town by and so it remains a moody gem.
I've been going to Mendocino since I was a kid. The restaurants have improved since then (they are now stellar), but the scenery and coastal views could never have been improved upon. Such a great getaway. Always love to check out the Art Center gallery. Consider a quick drive up to Fort Bragg to check out the botanic garden there. It is lovely to walk around the garden. We were lucky enough to arrive during a rhododendron show - amazing variety of blooms.
The location, the ocean views were amazing. The staff was exceptional, friendly and helpful. The amenities were excellent. I have special diary needs and they were more than helpful in making sure to accommodate my needs plus, the food was well prepared and great. We've stayed in several different Mendocino bed and breakfasts and this one will definately get our business next year. What a great time we had. Thank you Agate Cove Inn.
there are flowers everywhere, even in winter. the garden and house feel old and graceful, which is part of the charm of mendocino. the staff is helpful, pleasant and informal. there was a fireplace in our cottage (which is more rustic feeling than the house). it was also the cleanest room imaginable. and breakfast was included.
The hotel is a wonderful, historic old building right in the middle of the little village of Mendocino
