Great hotel, accommodation was excellent, Happily amazed at the 3 free drinks per day per person for happy hour 5.30pm-7pm as well as hot nibbles(dinner) and then breakfast in the morning, which both had a good variety of choices. Would highly recommend this hotel,nice and comfortable, close to public transport or you can easily walk to places of interest.

Milwaukee is a hidden gem!
Milwaukee is a hidden gem! We went on a Baseball Chaser trip but found so much to do there. Take a city tour your first day and you will see so much to return to. We went to see the Brewers 3X, the baseball park tour (*), we saw the Art Museum, City Hall is beautiful inside, there are statues around town to enjoy, The Black Cat Alley artist alley, the Public Market, the North Point lighthouse and carriage path, the Miller Brewery tour, the Lakefront Brewery Tour (*), the Milwaukee River walk, and on a free night were bought tickets and were able to catch a Goo Goo Dolls concert at the BMO Pavillion at Summerfest. Summerfest is a great "park" lakefront that offers free concerts during the summer too. If you are taking in any games in MKE go to any of the 39 bars that offer shuttles to the games with the purchase of a drink or food. It's a great way to meet people, get a ride right to one of the gates and back. GENIUS way to get to and from a game. There was more to see, but we squeezed all this is on a 4 day stay.

There were so many other things we wanted to explore, but ran out of time. Four days was not enough time for us.
The Jelly Roll concert was the purpose of our trip.
We rode the "I-Hop" free tram. That was neat. At night we braved our lives with a guy giving rides on his passenger bike. Had a seat behind him and then another one connected to that one facing backwards. It was definitely an experience. I doubt if we will try that again. He was going the wrong way on the street, made U-turns in front of oncoming traffic. He even drove up on the sidewalk. We had a blast. But, after about 10 minutes we asked to end the ride for the safety of our lives, LOL. It was fun though. Made a great memory.

I felt like Milwaukee was "Chicago lite" - sort of the same...
I felt like Milwaukee was "Chicago lite" - sort of the same overall vibe. I was downtown the whole time, and didn't have time to sightsee much. I was struck by how clean the area I was in was, and the streets were wide and easy to navigate. And Mader's is a must-stop.

We love visiting Milwaukee.
We love visiting Milwaukee. Although we live in the NW suburbs of Chicago, it is much easier for us to get to downtown Milwaukee than to downtown Chicago, and takes only a few more minutes than we have to plan fir going into Chicago.

It was quiet at night, making it a comfortable place to sleep.
Although the property was advertised as a luxury suite, it did not feel like one. There was only one bathroom for up to eight guests, as described. Even though there were only five of us staying for three nights, sharing a single bathroom was inconvenient. There were also no extra trash bags provided, so we had to purchase our own. Another major issue was the parking. Our vehicle was blocked by other cars parked behind us, making it impossible to use our car when we needed it. As a result, we had to rely on Uber and rides from friends during our stay.

Milwaukee is a very walkable city.
Milwaukee is a very walkable city. We loved the free public transportation, The Hop. Great variety of restaurants.
The staff at the Mason Grille were great. We had the surf and turf, the barbeque shrimp and chop salad. It was very good, great flavors.
The lobster bisque at the Harbor House was some of the best bisque we had ever had.

The comfortable bed was set in a large spacious room. The check in reception person gave us a room away from lobbies and elevators which made for a quiet and peaceful night. The hotel is very central to everything in downtown Milwaukee. We walked to a pub and crossed the Milwaukee river, it was quite beautiful at night. The breakfast was the usual cereal, scrambled egg, pancakes, coffee and tea.

I didn't accept the WhatsApp messages that would have given me my entry codes, but the manager was the nicest dude.
Walked me through the whole check in and how to access the property. Showed where the laundry and facilities were.
The room was massive and the bed was very comfy.
Will absolutely stay here again when I am in Milwaukee.
