The beaches were very cool.
The beaches were very cool. We liked that we could drive on them.
We did not really like the layout of the roads. It was a bit confusing.
There is literally one breakfast restaurant in town. Not a lot of food options due to permit codes and what have you.
We wanted more options for dining.
We ate at Dugans Pizza for dinner. The pizza was just ok. The cheese was great though. The prices are a bit high for what you get.
French Onion soup was just ok as well $9 a cup

Ocean Shores needs a major update, but being able to drive out on to the beach and enjoy the majestic Pacific ocean is worth the trip out. Restaurant's are overpriced, gift stores sell the same junk, "candy" stores sell bulk candy you can buy at the grocery store, and the "hotels", motels, and Inn's are all very rundown. We made good memories but I'm not sure we'd go back for the cost of our stay. There are a couple fun places for kids to play (bumper boats, mini golf, go-carts). Lots of wild deer. They're protected in Ocean Shores so they're not afraid of people ( probably because humans feed them, which is a no-no).

Ocean Shores has become an under-served vacation spot with inflated prices and little or no service in very pricey hotels for the value. you can't get a decent cup of coffee. The restaurants are crowded over priced and poorly serviced. the only convenient place to get food is McDonald's and about the only place where you don't feel gouged

Town was great, Hotel looks like a flea bag hotel from outside & although I requested a wheelchair accessible room we were assigned a 2nd story room with a long stairway to climb & I use a mobility scooter. Was so upset didn't take time to even go out on the beach. Just turned around and started the 2.5 hour drive back home so we could get through the construction detours in daylight since we were unfamiliar with the detour route.

It says beachfront, but most of the town is not.
It says beachfront, but most of the town is not. There's at least 1/4 mile of dune between the hotels and the beach. There's not great shops, just a couple of places that sell touristy things. The food was so/so. It seemed like the best thing to do was either fly kites, or ride electric bikes around town and on the beach.

This town has gone down hill.
This town has gone down hill. So many restaurants and hotels are closed or in horrible disrepair. I would not recommend it except for maybe a day trip at the beach and bring your own food. We did have good pizza at the Pizza Factory, but had to wait over 45 minutes for out food. They were doing a lot of take out orders, and with very few places to eat left in town, this was one of the main places to eat besides McDonalds. They had a salad bar but it did not look very sanitary. It's so sad to see what is happening to Ocean Shores.

The hotel location was great, close enough to shops and to the main road (we stopped for the night)
The staff are nice, and the reception area recently renovated.
There is plenty of parking right in front.
The WiFi was fast and steady.
The hotel is in a very good location with its own beach access. The room was large, well equipped and comfortable. All the rooms are different but we were very happy with ours. Decor a little dated, but very comfortable.
Hotel was peaceful and quiet, it had a heated indoor and outdoor pool, room was clean and large, and the staff were very inviting. Would definitely stay here again, plus it’s super close to everything in the town.
When we arrived the reservation was not what I had requested from booking.com. But the hotel upgraded us (all 5 of us) to the penthouse and my teenage grandkids were excited for the upgrade. We had so much fun!!
Breakfast was a normal hotel buffet. Waffles, scrambled eggs, bacon, sausage etc. It was nice to be able to eat onsite rather than go out for every meal
