Would like a 1st floor room on next reservation I accidentally left my glasses by the hot tub and discovered it after everything had closed for the night security was nice enough to go into the office and there they were on the desk with a note that somebody had found them I greatly appreciate that as I did not bring my contacts with me on that trip

Our room was very clean and seemed recently renovated. The grounds are well maintained with picnic tables, a play area for kids and barbecues you can use. The breakfast was good with good variety.

Ogunquit Beach is a beautiful Beach between York and Wells Beach where the sand is golden/ fine white sand. It offers gentle waves of 62-67 degree water and a lazy river/ inlet. The marginal way always offers scenic and picturesque vantage points.

We love Ogunquit and have been visiting for the past 15 years. Our favorite restaurant is Brix & Brine and saw a show at the Playhouse. We typically go to the Dueling Divas show and the piano bar. We also enjoy walking the Marginal Way and visiting Perkins Cove. We miss the Christmas store.

Ogunquit is perfect for walking vacations.

Ogunquit is perfect for walking vacations. Rte1, the main street that runs through it, is loaded with shops, crafts, a little market with prepared and make-to-go food options, dining and drinking establishments, hotels and motels. It is a cute, busy village. Perkins Cove is down a side street (Shore Rd.). It is a lovely scenic area with shops and dining options, places to sit and watch the ocean or the boaters coming in and out and the fishermen loading and unloading. One to several hour cruises are available to the public. Nearby is the entrance to the Marginal Way, a paved walking area - 1.25 miles along a cliff to Ogunquit Beach. Perkins Cove is worth visiting just to catch the views from all angles.

I've been coming to Ogunquit for 26 years.

I've been coming to Ogunquit for 26 years. It never grows old and we love exploring Maine. 20 mins to Kittery outlets to the South and an hour north to Freeport outlets with a stop in Portland on your way back. Lighthouses, breweries and so many great restaurants to visit!

If you enjoy the beach, excellent views, shopping in quaint shops & wonderful restaurants & seafood, then Ogunquit is the place for you to visit at least once! Perkins Cove & the Marginal Way are a walk or Trolley ride away (in season) & an absolute must during your visit. Fresh lobster & whole belly clams were AMAZING!!

The location is amazing. We go to Ogunquit all the time during the summer, and have never been able to get a room at the Marginal Way House in peak season. We decided to take a shoulder season trip over, and were so excited to be able to book there. We were up in the morning and walking the Marginal Way to Perkin's Cove and back. Such a wonderful walk, no matter the weather.

Excellent breakfast and very accommodating staff. Lovely location and room as well. We were pleasantly surprised since we expected a very run of the mill motel. We would return when we have time to enjoy the lovely location on the water.
