A bright, modern hotel with good facilities all round. Our room was well laid out, the bed comfortable and the shower excellent. We were delighted to enjoy a swim in the pool and to be able to make use of the guest laundry. The very helpful receptionist sent us up the road to Spezia, an Italian restaurant, where we enjoyed a fine evening meal.

Very charming place; great amenities; the deck is wonderful; nice fenced back yard for littles to play; walking distance to Old Elkhorn which as a winery, brewery and coffee shop; also close to Interstate; easy access; parking on site; host is very kind and accommodating; we visited family in Elkhorn so the location was perfect, but it is also close to several restaurants/bars in the West Omaha area.

Give yourself some extra time to navigate the complicated highway system. Restaurants were very good. Plenty of small malls to pick up what you need. Casey's is great for gas, snacks, and drinks. Plenty of family run restaurants. Lots of hotels with good prices.

Omaha is a great small city. the Zoo is a must experience and allow 2 days. Surprisingly there was virtually no traffic and there seemed to be good night life Saturday evening driving through checking things out. Lots of great restaurants too.

While everything looks new or freshly painted, still had many issues. The faucet in the bathroom was loose. I mean finger tight! Their "continental breakfast' didn't exist the first time we stopped! Even the furniture was still covered in plastic. The return trip they had coffee, corn flakes & milk. Bread for toast, but no butter. A waffle machine with syrup, but again, no butter. No juice, fruit, or any on the usual breakfast items. Only half of the furniture was uncovered. And the funniest part was a poorly made sign saying 'no food in rooms.' I said, WHAT FOOD?

I grew up in Omaha and returned for a family visit.

I grew up in Omaha and returned for a family visit. Omaha restaurants are amazing including several in the Blackstone District. Mula has excellent Mexican food (ate there twice!). Also in far West Omaha is Dante which has incredible Italian food and service. Make the trek out there. Another area I would recommend is the Benson neighborhood where you can find great sushi at Yoshitomo! Go there. Joslyn Museum is beautiful and free--check it out. The Zoo is spectacular in warmer months.

We were here to see a YES concert at Steelhouse Omaha on my birthday! Fantastic place to see a show. The town was beautiful and very walkable. Ran into Jon Davison (lead singer for YES) on the streets of Omaha, very cool guy and a nice touch. All the meals we had were great. We have been all over the world and found Omaha to be a delightful surprise.

The room was bigger than what I imagined. Hotel rooms tend to feel crowded with 6 people but not this hotel room. Breakfast was pretty good with a wide variety of food. We didn't use/need it but I liked how there was a mini store with drinks and snacks in the lobby to purchase.
