Onemo is very close to the main town of Mathews, which has...

Onemo is very close to the main town of Mathews, which has several antique/home decor/thrift stores, a Visitors Center, a History Museum, and several restaurants. Richardson's Cafe has very good food, daily specials, nice atmosphere, is reasonably priced. Onemo is a few minutes drive to three small, quiet beaches on the shores of the Chesapeake Bay which are very relaxing and peaceful, and not crowded at all on weekdays. It is easy to drive around Onemo with no traffic. It is also close to other towns in the Northern Neck such as Irvington, Whitestone, and Kilmarnock which have nice restaurants and stores. It is also 30 to 45 minute drive to Gloucester and Yorktown. There are several antique stores in these areas.
