Everything went well. I especially liked the ambiance of the inn itself. The building was simply gorgeous and well kept. (I love old buildings from that era). Our room was small, but cute and comfortable. We enjoyed the breakfast. Also, the staff was very friendly and accommodating. If I am ever staying overnight in Petosky again, it will be here.

We stayed in Petoskey specifically because of its location among the fall activities we had planned. It was convenient to Boynes Mountain and the scenic "Tunnel of Trees" drive. The Petoskey State Park was a terrific place to capture pictures of the sunset.

Beautiful walkable waterfront and a lively downtown area.

Beautiful walkable waterfront and a lively downtown area. Chandler's restaurant is a must. Great food and wine selection. City Park Grille offers solid food (really good clam chowder) and has a beautifully carved bar that a young Ernest Hemingway frequented. It is a gateway to the Tunnel of Trees. Be sure to stop at Petoskey Brewery. Terrific beers and bar food.

I experienced bedbugs in room 226 above and below the waist, both arms, back and legs. This was August 25. Not fun. This was not reported to the county health department but someone might. Doug Osborn.

Actually, Petoskey was my hometown, so I have fond memories and always enjoy visiting. Great downtown, views of the bay. Lots to do and see in the area. Dinners at Noggin Room (at Perry Hotel), Terrace Inn in Bayview.

Great waterfront town with lots to see, we hit the stores, the restaurants, stopped at many of the waysides, found an inactive lighthouse, very nice town with lots to see. We had lunch at Julienne Tomatoes and dinner at the City Park Grill - both places were very good (service and food). We had no troubles navigating through Petosky - drove all over town (hit the post office, stores, beaches).

Petoskey is a beautiful place to visit.

Petoskey is a beautiful place to visit. We just wanted a little vacay to get away for a minute and this trip satisfied our needs. We enjoyed walking around downtown and shopping. We walked on one of the piers they had and collected some rocks. We also got to see a beautiful sunset.

The room was clean and nice. Jacuzzi large enough for two was nice. Bed was comfortable. The room was quiet-no footsteps from above or loud voices from the hallway or "neighbors". Breakfast offerings were eggs, sausage, biscuits/gravy, cereals, muffins, fruit, etc. It was good. The hotel is close to everything. Shopping, wine tasting, casino, tunnel of trees, beautiful area to visit.

Liked everything. Classic old hotel located in Bay View neighborhood. Old timey lounge area and great porch overlooking park. Nice homemade like breakfast. 1911 Restaurant has a suspect 4.9 Google review rating, but does not disappoint. Location is tucked into neighborhood, with walking distance to lakefront and hike/bike greenway. Room was understandably small but comfortable.

Very nice hotel. Rooms were comfortable and clean. Breakfast was very good lots of choices. I have multiple food allergies and it was easy with the choices available to me such as hot homemade oatmeal and egg white omelet with cheese. They also served bacon and sausage and potatoes. Coffee was really good!

The hotel is beautiful and quiet. The room is very spacious. We did enjoyed the walk from the hotel to the downtown via Bear River Valley. It is a nice base to explore Petoskey.
