Fourkeys motel is located in Portsmouth, within 1.8 miles of Alumni Green and 4.1 miles of South Maysville. Did not have breakfast We didn’t even stay the second night! Toilet would not flush, had to use a plunger!! Bed was like a rock! Shower pressure was awful! I will never recommend or stay at this place again!
The Comfort Inn hotel is located off Route 52, near area attractions like the Southern Ohio Museum, Portsmouth Murals and the Historic Boneyfiddle District. Location was great, breakfast was just ok, prefer to have eggs, gravy and biscuits, bacon or sausage like they had before

Room was very clean and the lady that checked us in was kind and helpful. I do wish the menu was a bit broader but with Covid it was understandable. Enjoyed our stay very much. Hope to return

The Comfort Inn hotel is located minutes away from attractions like Mills Pride, Big Beaver Creek Golf Course, the Pike County Fairgrounds and Bechtel Jacobs. Everything was good from the check to the check out. Very clean updated facility was very quiet and would be family /children friendly. Located in Olive Hill, Carter Caves State Resort Park offers accommodations with a patio or a balcony, free WiFi and flat-screen TV, as well as a restaurant and a shared lounge. IRoom was comfortable and clean. Lodge was in a beautiful park setting with lots to see and explore right there. Lodge restaurant had a minimal menu but offered enough to satisfy our needs without having to leave.
Family lives there. Town is a old steal mill town And pretty run down, no major eating places, most electrifying local eateries. Major by-passes around the city. The flood wall was a good attraction. On the Ohio River.
Portsmouth isn’t very clean place and also bunch of drugs and drug paraphernalia laying on ground a lot of places I’ve been to or went to you see needles laying on ground and caps it’s gross n dangerous!
This trip was to go to Lucasville Trade Days and then to the river in Portsmouth to see the floodwall murals. However, the weather did not cooperate and once it started raining the plan to see the murals was tanked. That will have to be done some other time. My friend & I went into Portsmouth & ate pizza which was very good but then the rain started so that pretty much ended the day.
All of surrounding area was flooded. Some streets were all tore up and improvements were being made to city streets. The choice of good hotels in Portsmouth are horrible. We have stayed in about all hotels (we visit family in Portsmouth once or twice a year) and cant believe the conditions. One in particular is overpriced and conditions are not much better. The murals are great and the Dari-Cream (2nd street dairy bar) are absolutely great.
