There isn't much to do in Raymondville.
There isn't much to do in Raymondville. I only went to go to a family reunion. I have traveled there before for the fishing. It is close to good fishing in Port Mansfield. We ate at our family reunion. We also went to Delia's Tamales -- they are the best!!!

Raymondville is a small town.
Raymondville is a small town. I visit because my sister lives in Raymondville and my other siblings live in the nearby towns. Plenty of fast food restaurants and a few places with homemade food. It is not far from the main cities of Harlingen or McAllen or Brownsville. A day trip to South Padre Island can be had with loads of fun. Myself, I don’t mind the drive.

Our stay with La Quinta was exceptional from the start. We were in town for a wedding and we’re allowed to check in early so we could get ready in our rooms. The customer service was amazing. Staff was friendly, rooms were clean and well stocked with toiletries. Access to the highway was easy and there was a Whataburger close by for a late night snack after the wedding.
